This is a good idea, and it'll help people get back to work and get their hair done.

I also own a Salon in town and am well aware of the detrimental impact Covid has had on our industry . Sadly it has been significant . I am 100% supportive of pursuing all opportunities/options that will help us not only recover , but offer a new , and exciting innovation

I'm 63 years old and I would definitely take advantage of a mobile unit coming to me. So many good salons& hair stylist have had to close because of the virus. Its a great idea carol gilbert

I too am a salon owner. This past year has forced me to close my salon and relocate to another city for a lower overhead. By passing this bill, it would give me an option to further my business to a mobile unit. Without assistance from the government thus far for our industry I hope this will have a positive outcome.

Jennifer Hutchins (Clemmons , 2021-02-24)

My friends are stylists and need safe places to work and still be able to earn a living. Some people cannot do their own hair and truly need assistance.

My mother was homr bound and the saddest thing was she could no longer get her hair professionally done. Mobile service would have enhanced her life and served her greatly. It is a no brainer...other states are doing it. If we can make food service mobile surely this can be done.

Pastor Roger Hayes (Winston Salem , 2021-03-24)

#263

I built a mobile salon during the pandemic and would like to actually use it! This state is years behind as usual

Tara Konkel (Carrboro , 2021-03-26)

I support my hairstylist, and feel she and other stylists should have other ways of providing service to their clients and expand their business. It would be a great opportunity for them and the community.

Cheriss Ragland (Henderson , 2021-03-31)

I am a salon owner and would love for this for the future of my salon/career. Other states have passed this bill, and it works. The same sanitation rules and safety regulations will be in place as well as inspections for salons to ensure this happens.

Kimica Foster (Henderson , 2021-03-31)

#275

I'm signing because there is going to be an increase of demand for the convenience that traditional salons and barber can't keep up with. I think this is a great idea and one I want to pursue. There are other states allowing it. It is becoming a trend in the industry and should be allowed to have the option to better serve our clients.

Victoria Boehm (Kannapolis , 2021-04-17)

#276

I think it's a smart and effective way to allow stylist to express their art and craft. Safety first as always though.

There is no reason why a bill that allows the regulations of mobile salons should not be already passed and put into effect. This bill has my complete support!

Erika Florea (Hampstead, 2021-07-14)

#284

Because safely freelancing is better than not safely freelancing. This also gives the state an opportunity to make more money by creating a new license

Tommy Wozniak (Durham, 2021-07-18)

I’m a barber myself and I believe that this service will prove to be very convenient and more reliable as long as sanitation and professionalism is involved then I don’t see the problem. I see the future evolving with this idea! This is just one of the new waves in this day and era.

Octavius Morning (Greenville , 2021-08-28)

I am interested in opening my own threading station on wheels, www.threading-place.com

Roshni Barot (Asheville , 2021-09-11)

I would like to take my services to my clients door! This would be more efficient for my clients who may have trouble getting out of the house or don’t want to be out and about because of the Covid virus. I would also like to be able to bring the salon to special events. It is hard to pack and travel with large equipment for a variety of services. This would make it easily accessible to all equipment to be loaded and used. It also provides clients with a comfortable salon environment without having to be at any specific location.

Mackenzie Rowland (Thomasville, 2021-09-14)

#292
