While I have no issue with the ulema in the community and encourage that all ulema be active in as many masaajid as possible to build unity, it is important that the efforts of the current imamat of the masjid not be overlooked.

I want to iterate that my signing of this petition is not to create division but rather to show merit and appreciation for the efforts of the current imamat.

There should be mashurah (consultation) made regarding such crucial decisions at the masjid, the masjid is a place for the community, bearing in mind this is for a leadership position , which this individual must fulfill for many years.

I'm signing this petition because I feel the current Imaam is doing such an excellent job and all the mussalis loves him. Trust him. Confides in him and he is there for the community at ALL times
So not appointing Moulana Rushdie Nackerdien is a grieve injustice not only to him but to the whole community at large. The trustees don't have the commuties best interests at heart ..
