#13

The infrastructure is already over stressed with multiple and regular failures.

Bradley Whiting (GERMISTON, 2021-09-27)

#17

Illegal building adds to bad service delivery of electricity sewage, waste disposal in Germiston.

Elize du Rand (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#18

This area is already unable to cope with electrical outages, sanitation woes and water supply. Adding multiple households on this property will diminish the living standard of the existing home owners and families. This intersection is already taking strain during peak times in the day. With limited parking spaces available, limited control and improper maintenance, this will cause absolute chaos in a time children and workers are travelling to work. The infrastructure cannot handle an influx of this nature. For a good example of this, look at Delville. A perfect example of cramming too many households in an area with infrastructure designed around the households that existed when the area was created. Places like Fourways, Midrand etc are designed to have many multi-household stands on each property. The infrastructure was designed around this intention. Upgrading this area's number of households will not upgrade the infrastructure.

Malcolm Holden (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

I’m signing the petition to stop the construction. Our area is not capable to take more houses or buildings
Infrastructure is failing weekly and there has not been a single week where electricity and water works without interruption or failure

Markel Schnepel (Germiston , 2021-09-27)

#21

Signing because the infrastructure cannot handle all these units popping up in Lambton area.

Natascha Niemand (Germiston , 2021-09-27)

#22

Our community is in shambles as it is, LOADS of power outages sometimes upto 5 to 6 days!!!!!. Water is another problem!!!! Waste not being collected on time and sometimes dont collect at all. How on earth can they allow this to be done ?????????

Jeanett Van Wyk (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#24

I do not beleive this will benefit the area, it will add further burden to the over burdened infrastructure in the area

Louise De Beer (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#25

Area not suited for more high density residences. Decrease in value of property. Services cannot handle more resident. Danger for school as this can bring taxi’s into this road. Developer should develop other properties in a busy road in area better suited for low cost housing.

Jan Lourens Ten Napel (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#30

Germiston can not keep up with service delivery.

Petra VAN DER MERWE (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#32

I object to the demolition of 31 First Street, Lambton, for a planned multi residential development. The area infrastructure cannot support 30 new residential units.

Louise Trigger (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#36

We are already experiencing limited basic services ie. Endless destruction of infrastructure resulting in on adherence of unmarked road instructions, constant power outages, water restrictions, unavailability of conventional primary and high schools - new multi residence dwellings should not be allowed until current demands are met and infrastructure capacity investigated

Karen Grainger (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#48

I object to the proposed multi buildings.
I agree to the petition.

Lanette Fouche (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#51

I am signing this petition because I invested by buying a stand alone house in the area and refuse to allow my property to diminish in value because of a block of flats that cheapens the area

Rishi gangaram (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#54

I am against the building of low cost flats

Mashego Kaputu (Germiston , 2021-09-27)

The area infrastructure are already under severe pressure and cannot acvomodate cluster homes

Ulanda Labuschagne (Lambton Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#64

Illigal building and room rental are destroying Lambton.
Still waiting for assistance with the illegal building at 4 Third street, Hazelpark, to be dealt with.

Carolyn Van Der Vyver (Germiston , 2021-09-27)

#68

This is unacceptable, our infrastructure can not cope with this type of building. NO notification was placed on the property for residents to respond and the neighbours were not informed.

Carolle Olivier (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#69

Current infrastructure allready suffering. Fix first

Elaine Smith (Lambton , 2021-09-27)

#74

The logistics, infrastructure and management of the new development and residence thereafter will not be conducive to our neighborhood.

Desiré O'Brien (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#78

Concerned property owner in the area. Insufficient consultation and consideration for the impact of this development.

Anthony Magee (Cape Town, 2021-09-27)

#79

We are sick and tired of illegal buildings/ "legal approved" buildings and the Council can't cope with the water pressure and electricity.

Sonja Bezuidenhout (Germiston, 2021-09-27)

#88

City can't cope with what we have, now adding more

Corina De Beer (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#93

I do not want our suburb to look run down with excessive rooms being built on one property which will bring in an influx of people and put further strain on our already failing infrastructure such as water and power. This will also bring down the value of other properties surrounded by these "developments"

Annelie Tiearney (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#95

Already so many power cuts and water restrictions...so we can't have more ppl moving in if a complex is built

Carin Vd westhuizen (Lambton, 2021-09-28)

#96

Against the demolition of the house for the biikdingif the apartments on the corner of 1st and Frank streets

Carolyn Sternberg (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#101

I'm signing this petition for all the same reasons as has been mentioned above. Putting more pressure on an already unstable infrastructure is not wise and will cause even more problems.

Rozanne Day (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#107

I'm signing because the area is overloaded with new developments and cannot handle more loads of electricity and sewerage.

Madelain Midoux (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#113

We as residents of Germiston are affected in different ways, working from home when the power is out, financial losses when fridges not working, the inconveniences being without power, the water supply, the sewerage running in our streets. My grand children are in Laerskool Delville and their safety is at risk with increased traffic.

Dalene Saunderd (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#114

Over developing is overloading an already battling infrastructure

Donald Bowler (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#116

I live in the area and we are already battling with infrastructure so this adds a further burden

Coral Bowler (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#119

No and low water pressure is an ongoing problem. Extra pressure on already overloaded Eskom will cause more hardships for other residents in the area.

Petro Hillhouse (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#123

Objection against demolition and intended development on Erf 296, 31 First street, Lambton

Charlene Muller (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#125

All of the above reasons.

Tanya Potgieter (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#126

A title deed makes provision for a family to be housed on a premises. Overcrowding is not to the benefit of the community. The value of infrastructure will be reduced

Roeline Goosen (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#129

The area cannot support the additional strain on the Utilities

HARRY Boyle (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#133

Objection against demolition on Erf 296 and building of flats

Vanessa Moodley (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#136

The infrastructure will not cope with these additional units

Brian Swanepoel (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#141

People are just building and renting rooms as they please. Sometimes more than 10 tenants.
I wish we could somehow gate off certain areas.

Marlene Van Wyk (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#145

Infrastructure already under pressure and traffic congestion a problem as it is

Shaun Mcbride (germiston, 2021-09-28)

Property in Lambton will have no value. We are paying high rates and it is already

Charlotte Du Plooy (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#154

Overpopulated suburb

Sophia Van Rooyen (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#156

Our area already battles with electricity and water. With more units this will just make it worse

Margaret Krishnasamy (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#157

To protect our area, I stand with all against this demolishment and building of new structures which will further hinder our already strained services in Lambton.

Penny Kelly (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#161

These type of units will only overload the grid which is already overloaded and poorly maintained. These units will also not only contribute to higher levels of crime but will also lower the value of the area

Justin Sanders (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#162

Protesting against the building of infrastructures that will impact our area negatively

Angelique Scheepers (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#164

The municipality is corrupt and useless and allows illegal structures to be built without consequence. It’s time this changes

Justin Bekker (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#167

Infrastructure is inadequate for such development and will also exasperate situation on current housing in the area.

Dirk Schubert (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#169

I am in agreement that our infrastructure can not handle the load

Byrone RUBENSTEIN (Lambton, 2021-09-28)

#171

Too many multiple dwellings causing power and water issues

Greg Bryant (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#173

The infrastructure does not allow for buildings like this to be built. We have power and water issues on a weekly basis with no resolutions. Stop trying to make someone rich! Who is getting a kickback for this stupendous idea?

Heila von Rahden (Germiston , 2021-09-28)

#175

There is not infrastructure for this. We do not have enough power as it is. Stop building in our area!

Nick Botha (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#176

Electricity , water and other infrastructure is already overwhelmed, Additional structures and more people will facilitate the collapse of the existing services

Shelter Mushipe (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#184

Lambton cannot handle the infrastructure and I don't want our area to be downgraded

Shanlee Nel (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

Deon van Deventer (Germiston, 2021-09-28)

#199

Our infrastructure cannot handle more presure.

Carina Boshoff (Germiston, 2021-09-28)
