We should support small business in North Vancouver.

Suzanne Gagne (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

I’m signing here because food trucks and small business like this one is what has kept spirit alive during the pandemic, being able to go for a bite to eat outside and not indoors is a fantastic option! I attend Cork It, Sons of Vancouver and Woods Co. and have enjoyed having this particular food truck around!

Renee Benoit (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#208

I love this wonderful, quality small business. I have also worked in the food truck industry and know how devastating this will be for them and all of their hard work. We need to support each other in these changing times, not take each other down!

Shannon McCann (Squamish, 2021-11-12)

#215

This business brings a lot of character to the neighbourhood. We want places like this in our town.

Brian Serneels (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

This local business provides a huge net positive to the Lower Lynn community. Eryn and her team serve up delicious food that uses many locally grown or foraged ingredients in an ever changing menu. Eryn employees people, helps drive business to other local businesses, and works too create a sense of community by learning the regulars names, their stories, and what's going on in their lives and in the community. Businesses like hers are how community fabric is woven and by not allowing her to continue the District will be ripping that out leaving a gap that may never be filled.

Jacob Pope (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#220

Food is delicious are they are very charitable as a business. They’ve worked hard to establish themselves and the district should not take this away.

Charlotte Matthews (Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#226

Because I love pasta and in vacanza!!

Pauline McCordic (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#228

This pasta is the best and so underrated and the only reason this area is good is because of them!!

Natasha Rohani (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#230

Amazing Pasta. We were an early customer and saw the potential in this food truck! The partnership with the local distilleries is an example of small businesses helping small businesses 👏

heather beil (north Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#235

I’m signing because this is literally the only good thing that the lower Lynn creek area has going for it right now. With the slow down in development from the district, it is reasonable that with their intention to create a better neighborhood in this area that they allow this business to continue operating as it is highly accessed by families who live close by.

Allison Mennie (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#238

This is one of very few local food options for the neighborhood. We need to think about food accessibility and security for local families. Keep It open and local

Hannah Hewitt (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#239

Eryn has great talent and passion in creating amazing pasta dishes. Invacanza MUST STAY!!!!

Careen Lee (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#240

First of all we love the food!!!
And food trucks are absolutely essential to build and enhance community especially in up and coming neighborhoods like this one!

Anna Pawlowski (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#243

This is totally unreasonable and makes NO sense?!?! Let the delicious fresh pasta stay!!!

Chloe Brennan (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#244

its an incredible place with amazing food and great service. it brings the whole neighborhood joy and shouldnt be removed

Trevor McWilliams (Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#245

Hope you guys can stay! Who wouldn’t want an amazing pasta truck as their neighbour?!

Bev Turner (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#248

I’m signing because north Van need more delicious food options!

Paula Jackson (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#250

We love eating at this food truck and live one block away!

Lauren McCabe (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#256

Aside from having some of the best fresh pasta in the Lower Mainland, In Vacanza has helped create a sense of community on the North Shore. The partnership between the food truck and the two adjacent distilleries makes for a destination in an otherwise industrialized area that does not serve its neighbourhood’s need for culture and socializing. NIMBYism will be the death of this city unless we fight back!

Jen Clark (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#258

They deserve to stay

Lauren Van Vliet (Port Coquitlam, 2021-11-12)

#263

It is so important to provide opportunity to smaller businesses. I have eaten here a few times and the passion they have for what they do should not be taken. They are always respectful and not encumbering on other businesses in the area.

Mathieu Ruhlmann (Langley, 2021-11-12)

#264

The city of North Vancouver is a complete joke

Kevin McKenzie (North vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#267

This is a nonsense move by an angry neighbour.

Devon Latte (Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#268

I’m signing this petition as I am the manager of a company that also operates in the same ally, and feel that In Vacanza Pastificio provide a great service to not only our staff and customers, but also the local community as a whole. To see them go out of business would detract from and deteriorate the feel of local community.

Matt Lowell (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#270

They are amazing and deserve to stay

Dusan Indic (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#272

The food is great, the staff are great, it’s what Lynn valley needs and it brings everyone happiness (well apparently besides the neighbours)

Vanessa Callaway (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#280

If an agreement cannot be reached regarding this business’ current location, please find this business an alternate safe location within an appropriate distance from current, where they can continue to service their partnerships and customers.

Evan Ellis (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#282

This is amazing, female-owned small business that brings character and life to a once full/industrial area. One of my favourite things to do is pop by the distilleries with friends and get some pasta. We even had a Christmas party booked at Woods in December with this little truck catering. Support small businesses (and amazing pasta)! Bring some character to the District - there is no reason for this!

Kelly Brie (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#288

I support small local business and these guys have been fed a raw deal by the city of north van and their petty neighbours.

Crystal Bishop (West Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#289

In Vacanaza pasta offers a great service to the surrounding area. As density increases, it is important to have food to serve the expanding population.

The great food served here makes the surrounding business a destination and contributes to the growing community and culture of the area.

Airrick Dunfield (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#294

In Vacanza became an essential part of the Lynn Creek neighborhood throughout the pandemic.

It is by FAR our best walkable option for dinner.

Removing In Vacanza from Lynne Creek would be a major blow to the neighborhood.

Daniel Millar (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#296

I'm signing this petition because In Vacanza has become my neighborhoods corner stone. It is the only good food within walking distance of all the new condo and apartment buildings in lower Lynn. The owners are locals and they have created a lovely community!

Gabriela Pawlowski (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#309

Their food truck is a wonderful addition and doesn't seem to be impacting the neighbours at all. They deserve to stay exactly where they are! Good luck!

Cheryl Larson (Kamloops , 2021-11-12)

#312

Our community needs more businesses like this one. It bridges the gap between our industrial and residential neighborhoods.

Melanie Gagnon (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#313

I love In Vacanza and want them to stay. Their food, service and intention impresses me and I believe that they add so much to the neighborhood. I want to help them stay!

Brenda Williams (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#315

This would be a loss to all the people who love eating In Vacanza pasta and a huge loss to the people who work and live nearby. I do not understand how this business that is two doors down from In Vacanza can say their business is impacted by them when they are never there or open when In Vacanza is open.

Anne Baxter (West Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#316

This food truck has authorization from the city to operate at its location, the landlord of the building next door should have no say in their being removed, it’s an approved business, no different than any other just because it’s in a truck…

Tasha Wheeler (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#319

It’s just not right.

Carrie Pablico (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#320

I support food trucks and different options for people to have an income.

Mischa Watt (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#321

I want to help small businesses

Tiffany H (Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#323

Best pasta on the North Shore with lovely people running the truck! I can’t believe this is happening to you guys - good luck!

Kyla Rose (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#344

They are following rules, opposite operational hours

Summer Dotinga (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#348

The best pasta and people

Kostiantyn Kurbatskyi (Burnaby, 2021-11-12)

#353

I believe in small businesses and creative join venture like the food truck and the distilleries

Adam Paling (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#357

The pasta truck doesn't need to move. Those people are not being good neighbors, and Sons of Vancouver and The Woods Spirit Co have synergy with the pasta truck.

Mark Bakker (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#365

Dude this is heartbreaking. Whatever I can do to keep this place open/where it is I will!

Carolena Golinsky (North vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#371

This is one of my favorite restaurants I’d be heartbroken to see them leave

Georgia Cleland (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#376

I support local business. Their food and customer service is amazing. It's not fair to lose such a great business over 1 complaint.

Adriana Grajales (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#379

Support small local female founded and run businesses.

Anna Kozniuk (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#383

I’m signing this petition because we need more food trucks like this! Don’t let one “not in my backyard” Karen ruin this for the rest of us.

Macrae Jordan (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#384

I love this food truck! They are the best.

Emily Jarvis (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#385

I love the pasta truck so much! We don't have a lot of great option in that part of North Van. They are always so lovely and their Pasta are incredible. The combo of distillerie and Pasta is a real treat and an amazing way to support our LOCAL entrepreneur! They also employ amazing people and are sharing the BEST VIBES! Please keep our Pasta truck alive!!!

Stephanie Renaud (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#395

I'm signing this because the neighbours are being completely unreasonable. This lovely group is abiding by the laws and rules which the District of North Vancouver doesn't make easy to operate a food truck business in first place. They have all the permitting all the licensing and now being pushed out for playing by the rules? This is completely unfair and just wrong. The city of North Vancouver must step up. I own a food truck business myself and met this lovely group being in the scene. I will do what ever it takes to make sure this does not happen!!

Joe Fazio (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#400

I am signing because this is a business worthy of staying where they are. For why they must move is beyond me, I’m not sure how this could negatively affect the space where it resides. Unfair.
