North Van needs places like this!!!

Caitlynn Schell (North vancouver, 2021-11-12)

This food truck needs to stay. 2 week notice is unjust. I live right next to the food truck/alley, and there are much bigger trucks/random items/seacans in the alley. This food truck makes the best pasta in the lower mainland and its a staple of the lower mountain hwy location on the north shore. The amount of love and soul that goes into this food shows.

Marcus Liandzis (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#409

Great food truck owned by a fantastic person! North Van would be losing out if this truck has to shutter down

Zach Schmitt (Squamish, 2021-11-12)

#411

I love the pasta truck!

Jennifer Giovinazzo (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#412

This is a treasured local business and the complaints against it have no merit whatsoever.

Tyson Creaney (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#414

ERYN AND HER TEAM DO NOT DISPLACE THESE BUSINESSES. And they are the most amazing food truck.

Lindsay Woollard (North vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#415

I love this food truck that we recently discovered when we visited Sons of Vancouver during their date night promotion. This food truck has become an amazing contribution to the North van community and I would hate to see it close down because of some silly complaints.

Stephanie Ray (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#417

I’m signing because this pasta truck is a wonderful and necessary addition to the neighbourhood. It is extremely delicious and brings so much joy to everyone. It’s also the perfect complement to the neighbouring distilleries.

Megan Ellis (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#419

I am signing because the pasta truck is a great addition to the community and should be allowed to stay!

Andie Hawkes (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

small businesses need our support more than ever!

Joey Armstrong (Grunthal, 2021-11-12)

#431

This food truck is providing a great service and is drawing people to the area.

Nicholas Chow (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#432

This business is helping 2 other businesses operate, they provide a great service which allows the tasting rooms to operate. Forcing a small business to move when they are just trying to operate during COVID is pretty heartless. This business attracts people to the district and benefits the community.

Sara Echeverri (NORTH VANCOUVER, 2021-11-12)

#434

They are delicious and should be able to stay and keep their business open!!

Lexi Hermiston (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#439

Small, active, and open to the public businesses like in vacanza are helpful to build a sense of community that people feel welcome in. This type of community expanded into industrial areas is also a welcome and appreciated diversification of the urban fabric of North Van.

michael seymour (vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#441

Because the food truck is a needed part of the community in an otherwise disgusting, zero personality, boring area of North Vancouver

Brett Davidson (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#442

This is unfair that a small, legal business in our community is being forced to move. I hope the City steps in and does the right thing.

Pat Kelly (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#445

It's an amazing staple in community and helps supports other businesses around as well. They're food is delicious and the staff and owners are a joy.

Cynthia Lee (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#448

Tristan Gill (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#458

Because I believe in the food that is being created at this truck.

Aleck muller (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#462

I’m signing because we enjoy the food and also enjoy having a cocktail while waiting. I am guessing it’s win win for 2 small businesses which have no doubt struggled during Covid. Hard to imagine the truck it is a major obstruction in the alley.

Kerry Somerville (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#466

There is a need for this type of business especially during Covid

Audrey Pike (Calgary, 2021-11-12)

#469

I like Erin’s food truck. Why would anyone make a fuss about getting it out of there. People are just trying to earn a living.

Christian Reed (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#470

Save the food truck location. Great neighborhood place to pick up food

Maria Martorana (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#475

This business has been a great addition to the Lower Lynn neighbourhood The owner/operator is an extremely community oriented individual who is contributing to the growth of a booming area. It would be a shame to lose it and a step backward.

Lisa Reddekopp (North vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#477

I support local businesses right to exist peacefully

Catriona Aikman (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

In Vacanza is an amazing business that connects with its community and provides quality fresh food. The city should be supporting these kinds of small businesses.

Daniel Gorodetsky (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

Pete Manuel (Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

It’s a great food truck in a great location. It would be very unfortunate to no longer have them in this location.

Nathalie Dalgarno (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#496

I love Invacanza! We must support small local businesses like this one.

Kaya Dorey (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#498

I’m signing because I love the food from this truck and North Vancouver truly needs more local small businesses like this.

Ashley Johnston (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#500

It is the right thing to do. It is unacceptable what is being done to this Business.

Darlene Berry-Davis (North Vancouver , 2021-11-12)

#501

They have to stay!

Danette Massaro (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#502

The food truck enhances the experience of the breweries by offering delicious pasta dishes and should be permitted to remain.

It doesn’t make sense to require them to relocate if their presence does not interfere with surrounding businesses.

I agree that if they are required to relocate, the District should definitely allow them to relocate and/or identify a designated parking spot.

I wish the pasta truck all the best in resolving this issue.

Brenda Giovinazzo (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#504

Businesses like these need to be supported not harassed especially during a pandemic. This business is providing employment and a needed service. I have been to this location and the complaint about parking is totally without merit.

Brian Pike (Calgary, 2021-11-12)

#506

This is ridiculous, those neighbors have been after The Woods for years and now they are taking it out on the food truck operators. Both The Woods and In Vacanza are wonderful businesses that have grown a true community, and is a unique and wonderful dining experience on the North Shore. They operate on opposite hours of their neighbours, and I’ve never seen an disruption or litter or anything negative around any of those spaces.
Please allow this business to stay, North Vancouver needs it.

Kayla Brolly (North Vancouver, 2021-11-12)

#513

Small businesses deserve our support, and we need to make space for them

Sydney Botting (vancouver, 2021-11-13)

Isabelle Stewart (North Vanxouver, 2021-11-13)

#525

I am signing because this is a great business to have in lower Lynn. They have great food, great service and great relationships with the community. We have been many times to the Sons of Vancouver to enjoy our pasta and a cocktail.

Bruce Norman (North Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#529

I’m singing this because, there need more diversity in this district. Pouring here we need more.

nicholas Burrows (North Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#537

Please don't let In Vancanza Pastifico lose their ability to be a food truck on Rupert Street Alley!

Priscilla Ojeda (North Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#540

Small business needs support - esp good ones!

Heather Knowlden (North Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#546

I believe this is wrong. This business is operating on hours that do not interfere with an neighbouring businesses or people

Kayla Gowen (North Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#547

they are the most friendly business I have encountered in north vancouver

matt butel (north vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#549

Thus is such a ridiculous situation. The neighbor involved isn't even open when the food truck is. Operating businesses have had such a hard time, why are we making it harder on them??!

Tessa Taylor (Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#550

I am a strong believer in supporting local businesses and providing opportunities for them to thrive. This food truck has brought a lot of joy to the neighbourhood and great pasta to Vancouver while being very considerate of surrounding businesses.

Rebecca Sum (Burnaby, 2021-11-13)

#553

We need to support small businesses, and alternative options need to be preserved by cities to allow them to operate and be part of the community.

Amy Stephen (Burnaby, 2021-11-13)

#554

This small business is beneficial to our community and we would all suffer by allowing a forced removal for illogical reasons.

Rachel W (Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#561

I’m signing because I know this truck and come here often and I know how professional, clean, responsible, and community-building In Vancanza has been. It’s also one of my favourite pasta places in Vancouver and I would be destroyed if it closed! Please save this little, hard-working business 💗

Claudia Wilde (Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#568

Fantastic food/service and want to support locals. Vacanza are not disturbing anyone in the area and provided a value add to businesses who do not have their own kitchen.

Karen Koziki (West Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#573

I live in north van and don't want the food truck to move.

Nick Apps (North Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#575

I support this amazing local business!

Kristine Woiden (North Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#576

We love this food truck and would be so disappointed if they are forced to move or close. We should be encouraging these small businesses to grow and thrive rather than putting obstacles in their way!

Peggy Smith (North Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#579

In Vacanza Pastificio provides a necessary and valuable service for the businesses and workers in the area. They provide Affordable, healthy and great tasting food. The complaint is baseless.

Rob Castagna (North Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#581

I really love this small business and it is one of my favourite places to eat. I feel as though if they are no longer here I would also stop going to the two distillaries that it serves because there wouldn’t be any food to have with my drink. Please let them stay. If they have to move then you should also evaluate what is allowed to be parked in any and all alleys in North Van district.

Alisa Douglas (North Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#583

I’m signing because the food truck has been a great addition to the neighbourhood - esp during COVID. With the hours of operation there should not be any conflict with the day-time hours of adjacent businesses. This is the type of business to support and encourage!

Melanie Marchand (North Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#584

This is a small local restaurant in a region that continues to see more and more chain restaurants.

Bruce Bowman (North Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#585

I want to help save this food truck

Adrian Wolf (North Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#586

In Vacanza Food truck needs to stay

Jesse Deildale (Coquitlam , 2021-11-13)

#588

We need great little businesses like this in the community and it’s way too expensive for them to operate from retail real estate spaces.

Jason Boudreau (North Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#593

I think it’s mean to try to thwart an excellent small business. Locals should be supporting small businesses and encouraging their success. The pasta truck is excellent and adds an unique vibe to DNV. Customers from both distilleries enjoy their quality food. Making this truck leave may result in weaker business for both distilleries. Therefore, three small businesses are damaged. It’s just mean and stupid to try to force them to leave.

Adrienne Matte (North Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#594

This food truck should not be moved!

Brittany Van Balkom (Coquitlam, 2021-11-13)

#597

I live and work in the Lower Lynn neighbourhood. Excluding the Five fast food joints and the Irish pub there is one kick ass French restaurant with a legal seating capacity of 10. There are over 3000 people who live in our neighborhood, within walking distance. Would it kill the District to amend the laws to give us some food choices Five years before the development plan is finished and we all wake up in Olympic Village2.0. I brought this opinion up at a DNV development meeting at the District office on Crown street in 2016. There is +5 new condos since then and this food truck is the only addition. Keeping in mind Wings Chinese didn't survive the pandemic. How about start by supporting the businesses who are here now instaid of counting on bringing in new businesses in the future.

Unrestrict zoneing and allow In Vacanza to occupy a parking space.

James Lester (North Vancouver, 2021-11-13)

#598

This is an excellent local business and I support them staying where they are!

Sarah Sawers (North Vancouver , 2021-11-13)

#599

I support any local small business
