Parental Choice for Masking Narragansett Students

Our Children should be free.

Stephen Sullivan Sr (Narragansett, 2022-02-06)

I'm signing this because our children deserve to go to school mask-free if we so choose. They have done all that was asked of them, and more, even when it stopped making sense. It's time to stop the masking before it does even further damage to their social lives, their mental well-being, and their educational development.

Sarah Vanhine (Narragansett, 2022-02-07)

I’m following the science. Masking should be a personal choice not a governmental mandate!

The mask mandate is doing irreparable harm to our kids.

STEVE AVANZINO (Narragansett, 2022-02-07)

We need to focus on the social and emotional well being of our kids AND look at the data, the Flu is more threatening to children than COVID. Required Masking needs to STOP IMMEDIATELY!

MONICA BOSS (Narragansett, 2022-02-07)

I do not want to see masks on the children anymore, especially if they have been vaccinated. This needs to be over.

Sarah Szabo (Narragansett, 2022-02-07)

Heather Knox (Narragansett, 2022-02-07)

It is hard enough for children today in school. Do we really need to force yet another distraction on them?

Bill Miranda (Narragansett , 2022-02-08)

#53

Masking children is child abuse

Christie Creamer (Wakefield, 2022-02-08)

#54

Their children let them be children, they have a hard time as it is growing, learning, and enjoying the world. If there are parents that want to have their children to wear masks, let them. But don’t force others, and most of all stop using our children as a political crutch.

William Dart (Narragansett, 2022-02-08)

#55

All of the above reasons. The double standards, adults are living one way while forcing kids to follow rules they don’t follow using the “I’m vaccinated” mantra. It’s time to let teachers teach and give kids the easiest avenue to learn.

Kevin O’Connor (Charlestown, 2022-02-08)

I work at Narragansett schools and this masking insanity needs to stop.

Marina Ferrucci (Wakefield, 2022-02-08)

Parents should be the only ones who are making decisions and how to keep our children safe!

Karla Brierty (South Kingstown, 2022-02-08)

It’s overdue to take the masks off!

Jonathan Lurgio (Parkland, 2022-02-08)

My child is at NHS and is currently displaying signs of damage by prolonged mask wearing.

Corey Newkirk (South Kingstown , 2022-02-08)

I pulled my student out of Narragansett public school because of the mask mandates. I really hope the leaders will let each family decide what is best for their child’s health.

Jeanne Adams (Narragansett, 2022-02-08)

#72

Masking should be parent and child’s choice, not mandated by our government or schools.

Valerie Grenier (Kingston , 2022-02-08)

Clearly, masks are ineffective and ridiculous to wear; especially for children and teens with healthy bodies and good immune systems. We should not have to put these poor kids through hours of mask wearing everyday, it’s sad. Last time I checked it’s a free country.

Sophia Carroll (narragansett , 2022-02-08)

#78

Children are hurting. We need to give them their childhood back! Unmask all kids.

Christine Reposa (Narragansett , 2022-02-08)

#83

Making kids w 99.98% survival rates is criminal and history will not judge these actions kindly ....

Brian Winman (Narragansett, 2022-02-08)

#85

It’s time to remove the masks from our children. There remains no Randomized Control Trial that demonstrates any efficacy to masking. Until or unless presented with a legitimate scientific study that shows benefits, there remains no reason for our children to shoulder this burden any longer.

Philippe LeBlanc (Narragansett, 2022-02-08)

Masks are awful for children , affecting social emotional development, speech and language development and not worth the mental illness epidemic it will cause! This should be a parent’s decision, not the states. Children are the least affected and have the most restrictions.

Loren Faye (Narragansett , 2022-02-09)

#92

Our kids are having their rights taken away by leaders abusing their power.

Matthew Kearney (Narragansett , 2022-02-09)

#97

Way past due to end the mask mandate. Time to move on and allow our kids to have normal school days again!

Jane Paolino Shaw (Cranston, 2022-02-09)

Studies have shown they are not effective.

Joan Robley (Narragansett, 2022-02-09)

#115

I don’t want masks on kids anymore

Kendra Machado (Narragansett, 2022-02-11)

#116

I’m signing bc show me a peer study that says masks work. You can’t. Masks decrease O2 intake, increase toxin inhalation, shuts down your immune system, increases virus risk, are scientifically inaccurate and the effectiveness is not studied but yet built up in MSM narrative to invoke compliance!

Jennifer Nerbonne (Wakefield, 2022-02-11)

My wife started homeschooling after the mask mandate began. Our daughter has greatly missed her friends, but we are not OK with all the emotional, psychological and social trauma that masks cause. It’s especially disconcerting that the CDC has finally gone back to their original stance, that cloth masks are not necessary and not really effective, two years later when everyone is thinking about elections in the fall.

Chris Adams (Narragansett , 2022-02-14)

#118

Parents, not government, have the right to make these choices

Susan Palange (Wakefield, 2022-02-17)

#122

I believe that masks should be optional and be the right of the parents to choose for their own child what is best in each individual circumstance.
