I object to having a place of worship in the neighbourhood which would cause noise disruptions, traffic disruptions, and more strain on our municipal services.

Michelle Marillier (Germiston, 2022-02-15)

This is in my neighbourhood and I do not want the peace and serenity of our suburb distupted with odd hours of worship that will sound throughout the whole neighborhood.

Allowing any subdivision or rezoning at a time when no control exist over illegal and unlawful construction and occupation of unsafe structures exists is irresponsible, harmful and lacks the duty of care.

There are enough Church building either vacant or hardly used in the area that can be utilized. The neighbour's to that property are entitled to their privacy as well as the noise level to them will be unacceptable.

I am signing this petition as I am opposed to the rezoning of Portion 38 of Erf 34 - 179 South Rand Road to a place of worship.
It is infringing on my human right and my time of silence.

You will be forcing me to another religion which I don't think is fair.

they can build their house of worship at any open erf or plot which is not close to our residential homes.

Lizette Norris (Johannesburg, 2022-02-16)

This is going to destroy our neighborhood.

Carina Claassen (Germiston, 2022-02-16)

Where the property is located, the infrastucture will not cope with infrastructure required to operate a public gathering place

Elize du Rand (Germiston, 2022-02-16)

The infrastructures in our are is already under such severe pressure that residents are constantly inconvienced by interruptions. A church with people also residing on the premises and others coming there will cause further strain. There are various other churches in the area already. Lambton has been plaqued by crime and this will just open the possibility of criminals, homeless people and streetchildren flocking to the area under the guise of getting assistance from the church. The streets in the area is not build for increased traffic that such a church will bring. All of this in turn has a negative impact on the value of our properties. Noise pollution is another great concern. Residents are already burdened with clubs near Rand Airport and other venues making noise over weekends and at night.

Ulanda Labuschagne (Lambton Germiston, 2022-02-17)

#117

The current infrastructure cannot handle this, there are sufficient churches in the area, high levels of noise

Marcelle Kassel (Germiston , 2022-02-19)

#119

The infrastructure in our area is old and is not coping with our current needs. This will negatively impact our roads, water, electricity, refuse and traffic congestion. This rezoning will not be for the benefit if the majority of the residence in the area.

Gail Ackermann (Germiston, 2022-02-19)

#131

We don't want any infrastructure done.
