Every single bank transaction costs money. Cash should always be accepted.

I am signing because I want to support the use of cash in our society.

I’m signing because we have a right to choose the way we pay for something. cash is legal tender. Just one more step in taking away our rights and freedoms.

i like the option of paying in cash. it's one thing for private businesses to limit how they want to do business, but it's problematic for the public sector to limit how we can pay our services.

Cash is legal tender, we should have the right to choose our preferred method of payment and it is an alternative that can also be used during power supply disruption etc.

At the very least, cashless society disregards the most vulnerable people..

I own a house in Cairns and do not want to only be able to use credit when paying money to the council.

From power failures to technical glitches, let alone the risk to misuse/abuse power, we NEED to retain the ability to pay at all times without undue control

I care about the free human being. The one sure way to completely nullify liberty and enslave our children for eternity is to remove cash from society. We are completely and wholey against the horrifying notion to move towards digital only economies. Cash isn't just king, it's the only answer. I now use cash as much as I possibly can so I'm never beholden to craven governments and multinational corporations!
