Im signing because I agree 100%.. What happens to the rest of your money if u only getting paid for 4 years?.. Tgen tgere is the fact I worked 12 years same company then got medically boarded but the monthly payout is pathetic then u read in uif group of people less tge 5years getting these big amounts.. Something is wrong here...

I am signing this petition because I am in the same struggle with my UIF money. No one wants to help, it’s like they break your spirit so you can eventually give up fighting for your money. They do it deliberately everyday you go there it’s a different story, they are always giving you dates to come check prolonging the payment I have been waiting for 5 months for money, how do they think I survive? When we pay we pay religiously without fail but we have to wait months to get our money like it’s their money. I want my money and I will not rest until labour gives me my money. That money is mine what’s I contributed it’s not their money worst part they only give us the last 4 years no matter how many years we contributed so I want my money

My husband has also not claimed any uif for 15 years. He applied for illness benefits for September to January. He got one payment a small one and not again and you ask these unhelpful people at DOL they not interested in helping you. You sign online and there's forever a problem fetching your details. This is pathetic!

I applied for my UIF in October but only got my funds in late December and my second payment was a disaster, I am only signing now for my Third and it's way past my signing date

Why don't they just give out once off payment , so that one can't upskill themselves and try other jobs with that UIF Money .
I am very angry 😡

The payment I received of 2k is absolutely ridiculous and not liveable. To make matters worse I waited so long for it only to not be able to use it as the accrued bank charges on my account took everything!!!.
I can't afford nappies or milk for my 2 year old or even food for myself and baby as I am currently expecting. I thought UIF was meant to assist us through the difficult time of being unemployed instead it's added hassles and stress having to constantly borrow money to go in to the DOL offices

I queried my amounts paid and was emailed given a formula, however when the formula is used the amount that is supposed to be paid is not, what's the purpose of its not applied? Payoiut amounts are so random its like playing roulette.....Going to DOL Mitchells plain is a full day camp out only to be told to wait another 15 days. Thereafter you have to go back and be told the same thing, every month is stressful wondering what or if you even will get any money. This is the time when people need money but we are being treated like we are borrowing it form DOL, we PAID it so why is it such a difficult task? In 2000 I received cheques for maternity benefits 24 years ago getting money was Soooo much easier ....this country is moving backwards

We have wait more than 4 to 7 months before getting our money. Why we only receiving 4 years only that time i worked 10yrs what about the rest of the money its a daily robbery dont tell me about staff yoooo lord to lazy people that one's always 10 am they are offline. Paymaster is taking time to release our money u cant take 2 months what are you checking for whole year like being for real uif labour department you not treating us in a good manner at all that time when working u deduct every month u tell u story's but when it comes to us for our return there's story. Please think for us we have children to support bcz we dont receive that R350 because it will that i must get money from you uif but dololo. Please pickup your socks. Thank you.
