Struggling To Continue

Greetings everyone. The learners whom have been granted the opportunity to study and get experience in the Civil Engineering field at White River Technical College which the learnership (Supervision in the Construction Process) is funded by CETA. CETA promised to pay each and every full time student a stipend of R2500.00 each month for a duration of 12 months. Unfortunately, no payments have been made to us students and it is now the third month approaching the fourth month with no luck. We are pleading with the public and the Department of Higher Education and Training to hear our cries as we are struggling to make ends meet regarding daily transportation and food to eat.

We find the whole system disingenuous because it's been too long and we still waiting. The number of attendees has dropped drastically on this third month , struggling to continue still with no pay.

In conclusion, we would like the Department of Higher Education and Training to intervene and take action in investigating this matter.
