We have discovered that some shops and spaza shops selling food are not following hygienist standard. We demand that department of Health in Mpumalanga Province to come down Bushbuckridge with immedia

 We would like to bring to your attention to the following:

1. We have discovered that some shops and spaza shops selling food are not following hygienist standard.

2. They are manufacturing their own food and beverages that is not SABS (ISO 22000) approved and also in a substandard condition.

3. The foodstuffs that are sold in their shelves has expired, counterfeited goods that are not fit for consumption and changing of expired dates. This matter proves to be a national problem and affects most children from poor communities who happen to be the black Africans.

5. We believe that 97% of spaza shops are selling drugs, which causes high rate of school children drop outs

6. We demand that department of Health in Mpumalanga Province to come down Bushbuckridge with immediate effect, because we can't continue watching our nation or society to suffer like this.

7. As members of the community we plead to work together with SA police to help eradicate crime in our area

8. We are experiencing a negative impact of gambling machines which are located in all spaza shops with such machines. Most of our community members are addicted to those machines hence they are led to commit crime in order to get money.

9. We demand that the department that is responsible to appoint the environmental practitioners to do their job and increase the number of their staff that can cover all the areas.
