THE END IS NEAR

2020-06-17 19:55:38

We wish to comfort the Peni family and friends by sending warm heartfelt condolences for the loss of their, daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend.

However this petition is to mobilize support and security to those who are close to the deceased, this is to assure you that you are not alone  and everyone will support the family with all they have.

Heaven could not wait to have an angel as angelic as your daughter, sister, mother and friend. We are all affected , June 16 will never be the same to East London women it will always be a constant reminder of the recovery of your body as we woke up with our timelines flooded with posts that revieled you were no longer alive and your body was recovered lying in a ditch somewhere.

Kodwa rest assured sisiwethu we will continue the fight with your family in your name. Apparently the scratches and bruises on the bastards face tell that you did not go down without a fight and for that we will forever celebrate you, you made us proud.

We have often heard of GBV Cases and never really got involved in making a difference against it, not because we ignorant but rather because our Justice system and Governments' silence and priorities with regards to GBV cases is too loud.

Often the continued  massacre against women and children just almost became normal ofwhich, as women we should continue the fight and realise being killed will never be normal.

We will ensure justice prevails for your undying spirit Sisi. Fight for us, look over us help us to continue the fight were you left off.

Your passing has brought a DARK CLOUD in our town , everyone  is talking about you. You are powerful,  your powers will answer and you will one day look down and smile.

Maybe it's your passing that will send a strong message across to perpetrators.

Rest Easy sisi you have been through a lot, and you are now in a better place where no pain can be inflicted on you by anyone...

DEAR CUSTOMERS AND CLIENTS. SMALL RETAILERS AND INDEPENDENT TENANTS NEED YOUR HELP TO SURVIVE. OUR NEED IS IMMEDIATE AND DESPERATE! The majority of Landlords in South Africa, who are members of SAPOA, SA Reitz or the South African Shopping Centre Association, insist on Leases which have Rent Provisions based on square meterage of rented facilities and not based on the realised Turnover of the Business, on a month-to-month basis. Small Tenants are exposed in the face of seasonal fluctuation of vi...

Help us get harshest sentence for animal cruelty

This is the innocent victim of prolific animal cruelty, at the hands of one woman. One of 100 dead and dying dogs found at her property in Clare Estate in April 2019. All the animals were suffering from starvation, dehydration, coccidiosis (from eating faeces), disease, parasite infestations, blindness, infected bite wounds from fighting among themselves, inbred deformities, and open, foetid wounds. Of the 80 dogs found alive, not one could be saved. The owner was charged on 80 separate counts

Strandfontein residents against moving 2000 people into the area

We as residents are against this movement. We were never consulted and request these 2000 people be moved into the leafy suburbs, to the likes of Constantia where the COCT will act more responsive in "Operation cleanup" once the countrywide lockdown is over.

Shut down Mclaren Circus, South Africa

Mclaren circus uses animals such as lions, snakes, tigers, camels and many more. These animals should not be used as entertainment and these animals deserve to have a better life and be free from that horrible business. The animals deserve to be respected and to be free to live in the wild instead of cages for peoples entertainment.  THIS NEEDS TO STOP.

Delay the return of children to school

Dear parents, grandparents, guardians and anyone else who believes the biggest mistake will be to reopen schools is South Africa. The department of education is wanting to reopen schools as of the 6th May amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. Sending our children to classrooms that are over croweded, sitting two students per desk. This goes against the social distancing precautions. This petition is to be submitted to the Department of Education once it has received enough signatures to warrant any a

Reduce HPCSA fees for Optometrists

Optometrists pay the highest annual HPCSA (Health Professionals Council Of South Africa) fees as compared to other primary practitioners, such as Physiotherapists and Speech Therapists. This has been consistent for a number of years. Optometrists are asked to pay fees of R2470 (2020 rate), almost as much as General Practitioners (R2500 (2020 rate)) who have the title of 'Doctor' before their name, and are placed in a much higher income bracket as compared to Optometrists. Our aim, as Optometrist

Animal owners and caretakers of RSA petition the government to recognise and permit companion animal behavioural therapy, time-sensitive foundation training and remedial training as essential services

While we all wholeheartedly support the measures our government has put in place to contain the spread of COVID19 in SA the impact of the lockdown regulations is causing havoc in our personal lives and the lives of our companion animals. Job losses, reduced income, home schooling and restricted movement to name but a few are causing abnormal levels of stress in many households. As a result our companion animals are also increasingly struggling to cope with the stressful home environments that m
