APPEAL TO THE GOVERNMENT OF MEGHALAYA FOR CONSTITUTION OF AN INDEPENDENT BOARD FOR SAFEGUARDING THE RIGHTS AND WELFARE OF THE LINGUISTIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES LIVING IN THE STATE OF MEGHALAYA

2024-02-28 04:12:52

Dear Friends and fellow citizens. Thank you for your support and encouragement with regard to our APPEAL TO THE GOVERNMENT OF MEGHALAYA FOR CONSTITUTION OF AN INDEPENDENT BOARD FOR SAFEGUARDING THE RIGHTS AND WELFARE OF THE LINGUISTIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES LIVING IN THE STATE OF MEGHALAYA.

This petition was initiated on December 29, 2023 and till date we have 331 signatures endorsing the need and demanding that the state government must form an independent board to address the greviences and protect the rights of the linguistic minority communities living in  Meghalaya.

Our fourm Meghalaya Linguistic Minority Development Forum (MLMDF) have been in touch with the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Shri. Conrad Sangma Ji, and submitted the charter of our legitimate demand. However, no response has come from the CM's office. Not even an acknowledgement of receiving the same.

We therefore, request all you dear friends and fellow citizens who feel that our demand for an independent board to address the greviences and protect the rights of the linguistic minority communities living in  Meghalaya is a necessary and legitimate demand, to continue to support us in our endeavour and to share our petition as much as you can, far and wide, so that the government and the CM's office is forced to take notice and take necessary action towards our legitimate demand.

Thank you once again for your support and we hope you will continue to do so until our goal is achieved.

With Warm Regards

S. K. Choudhary

President, MLMDF

Sushit Kanti Chaudhury, President and Vicky Vadera (Member) Meghalaya Linguistic Minority Development Forum (MLMDF)
