La naturaleza es por quien estamos hoy aqui, no querer ser parte de ella es nuestra sentencia de muerte. Yo dependo de la Naturaleza como ella de mi¡¡¡¡¡

Not allowing this beach to become a naturist beach constitutes discrimination of the first order.

The beach in question is almost never used for swimming or sunbathing by the normal public, as it is a half-hour walk from the main Trafalgar beach and from Palm Beach. The beach has a very gentle slope into the water so it is relatively safe for bathing. I walk there almost daily and am invariably the only person on the beach. In the early mornings some people walk there with their dogs, but then the naked sunbathers would not be there anyway. I don’t see the nude beach affecting anybody badly in any way. All the people I have spoken to on the matter seem to be in favour of a nudist beach as well. I think it would be an asset to the area

The German Association for naturism (DFK) supported the efforts from WCNA. The opening of the Mpenjati Beach is a great advertisement for the Naturism in South Africa and in the world.

Hopefully the authorities will come to their senses and declare this very small piece of beach naturist friendly. Best of luck

Because nudity is nothing wrong, it is a natural way to enjoy the environment in which we live.

Naturism is a healthy and pure lifestyle. While it may possibly not be acceptable to some people, we have a great many beaches in South Africa, and that a few of these beaches be made official naturist beaches, does not seem unreasonable. Taken generally beaches being used by naturists now, albeit illegally, are remote from the facilities used by the majority of the public. What is also of interest is that these "naturist beaches" are generally kept in a cleaner condition, because naturists by definition care a lot about their environment, and thus clean up after themselves. we also know from experience, that a great many naturists, especially from Europe, visit South Africa and utilise beaches that are "unofficial naturist beaches" e.g. Sandy Bay in Cape Town.  Rod Watermeyer, Cape Town.

If set up correctly it can be great for the nudists and naturists in the area. In the rest of the world nudism and naturism is part of many people's life with big resorts set up. I think it is a great idea for the South Coast as the weather throughout the year is perfect for this. It will boost the local economy attracting a lot more foreigners to the area. If you don't agree with it you don't have to go to it - that simple.

It will be wonderful to have a nude beach.

Not only for us as south africans. But for tourism as well..

It is funny how clothes have created a mental barrier that makes most people forget that we are all nude under our clothes. Everyone has seen themselves nude, yet have problems with another persons nudity. Nudity is the only law that punishes a third party because the viewer can't bare the site of a nude person. Sadly the only way any freedom has ever been won, was by civil disobedience.

Naturist beach in South Africa would also attract persons like myself from overseas and bring the area tourist dollars, as we have to at least pay for food and accomodation.
Nudists are more likely to spend time in that area, more than other tourist areas in your country.
