I think it is a shame that the arts are the first thing that get cut for budget. The world would be a boring place without the ARTS

Because I graduated as an Arts and Communications Student from the College in 2011, and have made a career out of my education and connections developed there. Other students deserve that same chance and shouldn't be unfairly biased against because they are art students that get brushed aside.

Arts are a very important part in education and development of the mind! Don't take it away from these young adults!

There are so many revenue producing options for this college. I have tried multiple times to engage them to think outside of the box. I find this option to close these buildings and ultimately programs is a very huge mistake. I am a WLU graduate.

If lack of funding a program is the problem, professors should be given the opportunity to discuss ways to cut expenditures. People in the arts are creative; they can find all kinds of ways to solve a problem. To the CFO--how about some input from the people who are most affected by these concerns before decisions are made!

I am tired of seeing music and arts undervalued in our children's educational life.

As a clinical social worker I have seen where the arts have impacted on the wellbeing of persons of all ages especially the elderly.

The arts, music and theater are all critical aspects of a well rounded education and reinforce the ability of our young people to create, innovate, think, feel and appreciate freely and independently!

As an art educator, I am opposed to any cuts involving the arts. West Liberty prides itself on its outstanding art department and experiences with clay are an essential part of the art program. How can they continue to educate their art students without a knowledge of ceramics?

Because I am an alumnus of the music program
and have done many performances in College Hall
and have seen many performances there by some world
renowned artists and it is a beautiful learning environment.
To tear it down would be a BIG mistake. That is one of the
buildings that attracted me to WLSC(WLU)when I was a sophmore in high school and my high school choir performed in there. IT WAS AWESOME.

I believe that the arts are an important part off our heritage. It is also important to be well rounded. It enriches everyone's lives. To cut any of the arts from WLU would really be a shame.
