Because Americans goal us to strip all happiness and togetherness from it's employees for the sake of profit that they just squander

Payroll deduction has been the method of payment for LAA for as long as I can remember (many years). It has been convenient and accurate. Traveling space available is stressful enough these days with full flights most of the time. We shouldn't have to worry about payment, etc on top of it when we already have an easy process for managing fees/taxes/etc in place with payroll deduction.
Thank you for your consideration.

I've been with AA for almost 30 years and why change or fix something that isn't broke.

The current payroll deduct nonrev system for LAA is both time and money efficient. There have been stories to the contrary trying to get reimbursed by LUS.

It will be a nightmare because of the refunding. They will need to hire more people.

We need to keep payment for non rev travel payroll deducted. It will be too confusing any other way. I commute so I have to non rev several times a week and if I had to always pay at the time of travel I may miss flights to work

Please keep this the way it is. Why make something simple, more complicated????

It is easier, for both sides, and in case of a refund, you do not have to wait, years to get it back!!!!

The system American Airlines has been using for non-rev payments works just fine and has worked for the entire history of the company. There is no need to change to a system where we pay in advance and then have to fight to get a refund ff we don't get on the flight.

This is a ridiculous for American to change what has worked for years. American receives their payment for travel before we receive our salary. Ive spoken to various US Airways f/as and they too prefer our method. I believe if we are active employees we should have that option and not be obligated to pay interest on a benefit.

We should not have to wait at all!

Anytime you pay for something in advance that you may not use and then having to keep track for your reimbursement is troublesome and leaves room for more error. Payroll deduct is a far better system.

I think is too complicated to pay before travel since getting a refund can be a nightmare and we don't know how we are going to pay for the cabin that we get if it's available BAD IDEA

It is extremely important to have our travel nonrev deducted because if by any chance you forget to pay a ticket your travel benefits will be suspended without notice and when you need them the most.
Four years ago I was on sick and this is exactly what happened to me. Not good!

Enough CHANGE is enough, your pockets are already full of cash! How about some CHANGE that puts some cash in my pocket?

I have read a lot of the comments and almost all make sense. And it's so true about getting a refund. I just sent a request for a refund as I was overcharged and the AUTO response was it should be resolved in about six weeks. My travel was deducted immediately next paycheck, no 6 week wait.

Changing it is not necessary!

This is proper way to Collect by payroll only!. A Bank of Funds...is Not...proper. My Money should not be held by AA...in a Bank. Each Employee wants to use their own Bank. AA ...needs to keep American Airlines Procedures they have Changed too Many...original procedures! BENEFITS. we Earned!..

Unfortunately Employees are selling their D3 Passes for a profit. Having to pay up front will control this to some degree. I do not think it is fair for the majority of us who do not abuse our Travel Privileges in this or any other way.
