#7: Reid Greenmun - Just say "No!"

You failed to mention Gvernor Bob McDonnell our once heralded advocate of small government and self proclaimed stawart of Constitutional Conservatism turned out to be the antithesis of both and successfully spearheaded the legislation that brought to fruition the biggest usurpation of individual rights and expansion of state and local government and largest tax increases in the history of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our now defrocked, humiliated and indicted Governor (and his wife) are facing many years in prison if convicted of the charges of which he is obviously guilty in the eyes of public opinion, and one can only hope justice will be dealt to both with the same set of rules as those used for the citizens whom he betrayed.

Bob McDonnell also tried to ram through the Obama health care plan and Obama's expansion of Medicaid. Although McDonnell fell short in his effort there are many corrupt republicans still in the general assembly who are working to follow through with the McDonnell/ Obama plan of expanding Medicaid, which will result in bankrupting the commonwealth of Virginia.

Just another bureaucracy being started by the state legislators so they don't have to make the decisions they were elected to do. HB1253 and SB513 will levy taxes on the Hampton Roads citizens. This Commission will allow unelected persons/officials to levy taxes/tolls on all of our bridges, tunnels & roads without the public having any say about the decisions the Commission will make. We do not need unelected officials to be able to have that much authority. We have our state representatives to call those shots and they can be held accountable, whereas, the Commission cannot be held accountable for making bad decisions with a foreign country like VDOT did on this Unconstitutional contract with the Midtown/Downtown Tunnel.

We can expand or curtail the power of Govt. That is a right given to us by the Constitution. I vote to Curtail the power of the Govt. in all cases in favor of the people.

We already have too much big government, we don't need more, much less civilians that want to control the people. That is why we elect our representatives ! They are supposed to work for us, not the other way around !

Impeachment proceedings of the states Attorneys General, the Governor and Lt. Governor should be top priority.
