I am a recent graduate of renaissance high school and I found nothing wrong with renaissance. The rotation schedule is not only tradition but its actually preparation for college whether people realize it or not. The schedule now helps with the homework load for students. As far as fine arts go, speaking from a previous Renaissance Dance Workshop member it's the best experience. Fine arts are where some people like me discover their passion and talent for something.  Fine arts are where some students discover themselves!  Taking away sports teams and fine arts are not improving the school. It makes it worse for students because they will not have the experience of balancing activities and work load. Now Renaissance is a number one school for a reason. Its not just our test scores that were known for.  We're also are widely  known for our fine arts departments. Taking all that away is like taking away Renaissance High school.
