MTN must account data and call rates to its subscribers
I hereby serve this petition to mobile giant MTN South Africa, gravely disgruntled and alarmed at the extent at which data or airtime lasts on mobile devices. There is need for MTN to account to its subscribers how their money is being used. Data has mainly been used as a scapegoat to balloon profits as it is hard to breakdown its usage because of the complexity of smart phones. Inasmuch, the consumption of data by MTN service provider is questionable, extremely dubious and grossly impractical. I am living proof. I have used MTN for the last 7years, the only reason I'm still there is because I would like to finish my contractual obligation. In this journey I have had times when airtime disappears without being used, that was before the height of data usage. You would juice up R60 worth of airtime, make two phone calls locally lasting approximately 3 minutes each and the next time you try to call, you are notified that you have insufficient airtime. Lately it has turned to data were you can surf the internet, download music, videos and even livestream. The disadvantages being that you can not provide a tab for it, what ever you charge goes. Times are tough, hence, we do not have extra funds to donate to your CEO's annual million rand bonus.
Now that has to Stop ⛔️. Every customer deserves a breakdown of his usage of data every month.
The cost of data is grossly over priced and must fall.
Unwarranted charges on contracts must be stopped.
The switch overs when calling customer service are too many and annoying.
Waiting time to get to a consultant is unrealistically too long.
Scrap away that whistling song when waiting for a consultant , it's annoying
TO THOSE WHO STAND WITH MY SENTIMENTS REGARDING THIS MATTER, LETS SIGN AND PUSH FOR POSITIVE CHANGE, SO OUR VOICES CAN BE HEARD AND OUR POCKETS CAN BE SAVED
