Equal pricing policy is important to enhance sustainable diets.

I stand for it.

Vegetarian and vegan options should be available at all restaurants on campus.

There should be a vegetarian option that is of same price than meat, or then even cheaper.

I’m signing because it’s obvious. Vegan food is less expensive to produce and therefore should be less expensive for students to buy. Assessments world wide show that a vegan diet is more climate friendly than other mainstream diets. Hence, the vegan option is the easiest way for students to act responsibly. We students want to act responsibly, why don’t you?

The climate impact of meat production is immense, not to mention the ethical dimensions. Every effort should be made to encourage the adoption of a vegan or vegetarian diet, and pricing is the most obvious way to affect everyone's decision.

I am vegetarian and support this move.
As such we have very few options for vegetarians. This initiative will somehow support vegetarian community.

I support an affordable vegan option. The dairy and egg industries are effectively part of the meat industry and their consumption must be cut drastically to help prevent climate change of over 3 C. In this post Katowice era, if Fazer wants to keep any credibility in sustainability, Fazer A Bloc have a responsibility to do just that, perhaps by making the vegan option the default, and pricing the meat/dairy/egg option higher.
Secondly, allergies to meat, dairy and eggs are common (I am a sufferer) and I cannot find anywhere to have an affordable vegan sandwich. Vegan food does not have to be fancy - a lot of the developing world eats delicious vegan food every day.
I would like to see the pricing at Fazer A Bloc revised. I was once charged 9 euros for one bowl of soup which is appalling. I would also like to see a reduced price for doctoral students.
Of course if Fazer A Bloc don't want to provide the student priced meal, we students can simply boycott the place. I certainly have since that daylight robbery of a sweet potato soup!

It's our responsibility to support someone who is thinking of saving environment n also students asking for food at reasonable cost , its their right .

One dish of the buffet could be priced as 2,60,and then the student could choose if he or she wants to take the whole buffet or just one dish

(HELSINGFORS, 2018-12-21)

I agree that the vegetarian/vegan option should be 2.60.

I'm signing because eating a vegan/vegetarian lunch option should not be a luxury, but priced the same as a non-vegetarian option.

I think a modern lunch restaurant should include vegan/vegetarian option always to their lunch menu. Kipsari is showing great example, but the lines there are getting unbearable.

I prefer vegetarian food

I am a student at Aalto and seek lunch at a reasonable price.

I usually eat at ABloc

Vegan option is considered to be the healthy and environmental friendly diet. Therefore if student choose to have it at school, they should have it in student price same as other food option.

I agree

I'm signing because the theme of the petition is the exact reason why I haven't even once stepped my foot into Fazer restaurant in Väre.

(Espoo, 2019-01-02)

#353

I’m signing because the price of vegeterian meal should be the same as the other meal for many reasons.

(Vantaa, 2019-01-02)

#356

We should all be able to contribute by eating e.g. vegetarist lounch within otherwise all-eating diet.

(Helsinki, 2019-01-02)

I think vegetarian option should always be supported because it is better for the world. There is just no point offering the meat dish at student price and vegetarian food at "normal price".

(Helsinki, 2019-01-05)

#393

I'm signing because supporting climate friendly choices should be the new normal - not vice versa. Fazer Väre restaurant could make a positive climate impact by this simple action.
