Covid 19 - Coventry School Foundation Fee Dispute & VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE

During these difficult times the foundation should support the families who have funded them (in some cases for generations). A sizeable discount should be forthcoming to offset the reduction in use of facilities and sizeable burden upon parents to help support learning at home. Additionally numerous families will be unsure of employment/income/affordability in the long term so some short term respite would be welcomed.

Full service is not offered by the school per parent/school agreement. 1 income from our family income is gone hence need as much support as I can get from CSF.

To have a fair decision on uniform discounted fees for all parents due to pandemic. School although trying to teach via online portals, however doesn’t justify the full fees as children are losing out on number of factors like social skills, practical skills, sports, PE, lunches etc. Parents are losing financially as care & supervision is needed along with extra running costs at home for stationary, internet, utilities, food etc.

I have 2 daughters at King Henry’s and following other schools in this area they should be offering all parents a discount.
How have they Furloughed staff on 100% pay when everywhere else it’s 80%, they are using the parents money this is not acceptable.

Theses are genuine and relevant concerns being raised in light of the ongoing pandemic

I’m signing because I attend bablake school and it is illogical for students to pay school fees when we don’t receive the same education.

I want Bablake school to consider giving fees discount in this summer since the school is not in full section .

Pauline Labiran (Coventry, 2020-04-28)

I am signing as I feel the school should make a concession towards the fees due to the current crisis. The school is benefiting from the government furlough scheme yet is still asking parents to pay full fees.

I'signing this petition because this is difficult period and situation for parent. Beside, the quality of teaching is very very low for the amount being paid per lesson and exposure.

I’m signing this because the school has no regards for parents affected financially by Covid-19.
They do no even reply to emails the teaching has been inadequate but the fees remains the one thing that is constant

The contents of the petition make complete and total sense. My child is set to start at Bablake in September and it is with grave disappointment that I note that the school has not reduced the fees, which should have been a matter of course. Current parents signing the petition have my full support.

I'm signing this petition because this is a very difficult time for everyone at present all over the world and some of us cannot afford to pay the fees now due to financial issues.

I am in agreement with the parent fee paying group and have personally raised my disappointment by email with the school regarding the fees requested over the period that the school service has been significantly reduced.

I'm signing because the school needs to be fair and transparent, given the situation parents find themselves in, in these unprecedented times.

I am signing this following my personal letter to the school, and I am in agreement with the points made by the group in relation to the payment of fees.

The way the foundation has dealt with this challenge shows a lack of empathy for the issues and a high degree of arrogance towards its customers

As a parent of a child that attends a CSF school I was disgusted by the treatment of myself and other parents during the difficult times surrounding COVID-19

Mikeda Jess (Coventry , 2020-09-07)

I'm not signing this no confidence because of how the governors have handled covid19 but because of NO CONSULTATION to merge Bablake and King Henry. There is nothing in the 'Coventry School' vision that is not already being provided by the schools. You are messing with lives and history... stop putting your personal agenda before what matters, the integrity of the schools and prosperity of our children!
