All people of Kuilsrivier must be able to use the facilities, especially those building our children and keeping them safe.

Jacqui Burton-Pye (Cape Town, 2023-11-18)

The hall should be made public to all kids and not a specific demographic, everyone should have equal opportunity to make use of the facilities

I'm signing because I support Project 021 wanting to enter a long-term lease.

I'm signing this petition as my child has developed immensely while being part of project 021. We form part of this community and should have the same rights as any other group to use this facility for our children.

City of Cape Town to terminate the lease between the City and the De Kuilen Voortrekker Club and hence allowed the facility to be used for it's true purpose.

Mandy Muller (Cape Town, 2023-11-18)

I'm in total agreement. Why should the hall only be available to an exclusive group when there are so many youth seeking safe facilities within the area, to grow on their passion. I feel fair opportunity should be granted especially to Project 021 who has been working with young people in uplifting themselves to develop their creative arts.

Melanie Pegram (Cape Town, 2023-11-18)

My kids have been part of this group for the last 6 years and this NPO has been brilliant in the development of the kids self image and assurance in safety aswell as unlocking their potential in the arts of dance. Achieving WP colours is the highlight of the success they achieved and if funds was available, National colours too. They need stability to expand and through this they can. Thanks

I believe Project 021 should be granted the long-term lease of the Voortrekker Hall as they will be enabling our youth, the same people who will someday soon lead this country, they will be imparting skills not taught at school.

The children practise outside because of not having a proper venue. This is not to kick out the people already occupying the venue, fair equal opportunities for the community is all that is required.

This organisation has been serving the community of Kuilsriver. They give and nurture our kids and giving them a platform to Exel in expressing their creative abilities through dance and drama.

Carmen Cornelson (Cape town, 2023-11-23)

This council owned facility should be open to serve the needs of the broader community.
Demographics have changed and it can no longer be accepted that a public owned facility can be a space which promotes social and cultural exclusivity.

In support of project 021 and it's Founder, David Cornelson, as he makes it his mission to see the kids of our mixed race community, thrive. This is only possible when gaining access to the resources made available to our kids on a non-biased platform and in a fair manner that does not discriminate against any organization and/or person/people.
