I live in kooralbyn and I can't understand why council would be against any economic boost for our small town. The influx of event participants and spectators are also likely to visit our local businesses which benefits our local people directly. Family friendly events like this should be encouraged and not stifled by our backwards thinking council.

Alan Coad (Brisbane, 2024-01-28)

This is a great event, the people who participate have amazing cars, it gives car enthusiasts like them an opportunity to show their cars, also it is better than racing on the street, this show is always well organized with plenty of safety procedures. It brings a lot of business to to the town of Kooralbyn and puts this place on the map.
I am all for it.

I have been to every event oZ torque have run since the start and is a fantastic event that brings people from all over to enjoy our passion of what we love in a safe legal environment. It is run amazingly well and is an even t we all look forward to each and every time it’s on and is also gaining national notoriety, with fellow enthusiasts from all over Australia now wanting to come to this event. It’s great to showcase to our younger generation that there are safe events off public roads for us to enjoy our sport. Not to mention the influx of people and money into the local economy.
Please let this event keep running it’s a family event ne and my family looked forward to every time it’s on as many others also do.

Daniel Pace (Brisbane , 2024-01-29)

Because this is an amazing event, that gets the whole town revved up, people come from all over and help put money into the community, as well as the event proceeds going to help farmers, the very people that help put food in our tables.
Do the right thing, let it go ahead.

Shane Hayward (Beaudesert, 2024-01-29)

Jack Greaves (Brisbane , 2024-01-29)

If this event has run past two years with no public nuisance problems why is the council stopping an event that brings so much out of town money into it .
