I'm frustrating, I've lost a job waiting for my documents at dirco, this can't be because of covid.

I'm signing bevause I have lost two opportunities and still waiting. I have had to wait for over 2 months. The waiting period is ridiculous.

Kelvin Sit'hole (Johannesburg, 2024-02-06)

I'm signing because I'm tired of DIRCO dragging their feet.

DIRCO is taking too long to process documents while we lose out on opportunities for work abroad. This process used to take 30 minutes but now it take 10 weeks which is unacceptable!!

Am about to loss a job opportunity because on how slow Dirco is with documents am supposed to be living the country but quess it shall remain a dream. The torture of being unemployed in South Africa and when you try looking for better opportunities in other countries our own government is working against us, if they could do the documents in just a day prior covid and what is stopping them from improving their services to us as South African or are went to suffer.

Evelyn Malefo (Pretoria , 2024-02-07)

I need DIRCO to improve their service. We have lost good opportunities because of their incompetency.

We wait more than 8weeks for documents from DIRCO😡

DIRCO needs to come up with an efficiency-solution regarding processing documents. Using covid as an excuse is no longer good enough as it’s been over 3 years since the lockdown.

I lost so many opportunities from Abroad because of my unready documents

Documents take too long to be processed. Thus when they do Come back they are expired and this leads to starting the whole process of. P. C. C again.

You guys have to do your work, if you are short staffed just hire unemployed graduates and let the work be done atleast 30 days after submitting our documents have to be ready. Please!!!!

It is unfortunate that people have to wait 2months to get documents authenticated. This can lead to stress, uncertainty and loss of jobs.
Hopefully this will be dealt with accordingly.

My documents expired whilst at DIRCO and I lost the job opportunity. I had to re-do my medical exam again and it means the first one wasted my money.

The waiting period is too long.

Ntombithini Fiyona Dlamini (Jozini, 2024-02-09)

I’m signing because the backlog is really costing us job opportunities.

I agree.

Agents are able to get services done in a shorter time frame. Do due dilligence on this practice. This means staff members may be taking extra fees to accommodate agents causing delays in the process of people who don't use agents.

Zubeida Allie (Cape Town , 2024-02-11)

I am signing because the process at dirco is very slow and we are missing on big opportunities and nothing seems to change.

I’m one of the frustrated South African citizens and I’ve seen my peers being distracted over lack of communication and slow work at DIRCO

People are losing opportunities because of employees who are lazy to do their duties.Fire lazy employees and hire people who are prepared to work.
