My first choice was to have a home birth when I fell pregnant. Unfortunately I had to have an emergency caesarean, my baby was stuck in his umbilical cord. I would like to still have home birth as an option for my second pregnancy.

Every mom deserves the right to VBAC at birth facilities or even at home. I had a horrible C-section and then an AMAZING home birth (VBAC/HBAC). Every mom deserves the right to a choice in this matter.

I am a birth worker and I do not agree with the government guidelines for treating women wanting a fair chance at a vbac like they have to perform like machines. Their guidlines are not evidence based and they are not fair. Midwives should be able to facilitate vbacs at home!

I dont see a problem with vbac births at home with the midwifes its an excellent experience and very intimate for you and baby and partner.
Please dont take away their rights.
Not everyone has got access to a medical aid nor provinsional hospitals.
