Laura agreed to terms in the CLA without a membership vote. In fact, the work force didn't see the details for months. She refused to work with AFA when AFA clearly had the better agreement. Laura refused to work with AFA to form a new union that would have clearly worked in the best interest of 24,000 strong instead of protecting the small number of high ranking APFA representatives. Instead, Laura was more dedicated to her friendship with Doug Parker and Scott Kirby than having working toward building unity among the combined work force.

Laura wanted to mandate the APFA Executive Commmittee vote yes on the TA when the details of the TA were not available. This is not how to unify a work force.

When an individual does not do their job effectively and for what they were hired for, they are fired.

One failure after another. Certainly has failed 1000s of Flight Attendants, as she represents the needs of the select only. Equity share issue was the end of the line me with APFA.

This was the perfect opportunity to negotiate for quality of life issues that would give us more flexibility and control over our schedules.  This agreement has not done that and it has taken the worst of both, not the best of both.

Laura's leadership has been designed and handled by the PR firm and their rep Anthony Dimaio.  She doesn't make a move without him.  If you need a PR firm to lead them you are not an effective leader.

 

Laura thought she could represent via the creditor's committee and by hanging out with Parker and KIrby.  You can't serve 2 masters!

Please add more details as to why Ms Gladding need to be removed from office. List more of the misleading things she has said. Maybe more flight attendant will become informed and become mad about the fact that we do not have a union president who have our best interest. Maybe just maybe flight attendants will sign the petition to remove Ms Gladding. Because apparently she cares more about her success rather than getting a fir contract for her members- who basically pays her salary . Industry leading, I don't think so!!! Co-workers just have a talk with Delta flight attendants , who last year got a 12% raise last year and oh did I mention, they just got a profit sharing check! All of that without a union!!! I won't even go into work rules. Just have s conversation with other airlines flight attendants and see where we compare to them, then ask yourself,"is this industry leading" ? Must I say anymore.
