Completely shocking! This attempt to hinder the call to prayer goes against our freedom to expression of religion. Does South Africa aim to retrogress??

Seems like this government cant seem to deal with important issues like crime ,unemployment and houising. So they get fixated ondumb petty issues to divert attention to other matter. As the years progress ,it seems the aparthied government was the better choice. So much for the noble struggle of anti-aparthied stalwarts like Madiba and Sisulu and others. The light of hope of a great S.A is out. Only suffering and despair is about to follow. The same pattern has played itself out in Africa for decades and yet Africa does not learn. Greed is the order of the day

End of the day we are all gods creation irrespective what religion we follow. More effort should be spent on getting people to start praying and finding hope rather than bickering and going backwards.

Every individual had the right to freedom and expression. Every individual also has the right to practise his or her own religion. As a community we should respect each others religions and not interfere with their religious beliefs and practises! If one religious practise is being violated, remmember that your religion may be violated next! So stop the discrimination and unfair treatment and let every individual pratcise his or her own religion without any interferences! As a community we need to stand up together with unity even if we all do not follow the same religion.

Why can't humans of any religion live in peace and harmony. Unless dey still have their animal instinct. The Azaan or church bells is there to remind us that our maker wants us to come to his call for prayer. What is wrong with that? Unless you are a non believer like most American leaders.

#75 Mentions bells as well

The petition indicates bells as well-this petition should be opened to all communities, not just muslims. Islam teaches tolerance of other beliefs. This decision will affect all religions in the area.
