This labour activation program under Petroconnect has not been doing justice to us as students, we’ve been working for 2 months now and no payment , they’ve been promising to pay since the 10th but nothing was done. The host employer which is BathoPele also expects us to be at work almost everyday with no uniform, will feel pressured by them also because we’ve reported some many time to reps the issue of uniform but nothing was done, we’ve been going inside fridges with no proper uniform in this cold winter because stock is always expected on shelves. I personally I’m signing because I just want justice for us as students because we are being made a fools just because we are desperate and we can’t get jobs so they think it’s okay for them to pay with our feelings. Hope this petition reach the right people.
