We are rejecting the use of implementing agents by FS Department of agriculture and rural development

Piet Mothepu (Sasolburg, 2023-08-29)

#4

The reintroduction of service providers did not work and will not work, it was a feeding scheme for tenderpreneurs and served none of the interests of farmers.
Away with service providers Away

Mojalefa Mashao (Bloemfontein , 2023-08-29)

#5

I'm against the bureaucratic practices and red tape that continue the marginalization of our emerging farming community. Implementing agents are nothing else, but manifestation of corruption.

Moshe Setseli (Sasolburg , 2023-08-29)

#6

The move by the department to change the good work made so far will only bring back the worse service that the province has had before.
90% of all the projects done with implementing agents we left undo and they are still even now an empty shell.
The state funds is not there for people to misuse when they are in office.

Realeboha Mokhethi (Virginia , 2023-08-29)

#7

We don't want to change the current transfer payment agreement. We are happy with it and DO NOT want service providers/tender processes to implement for us.

Tumelo Pedi (Bloemfontein , 2023-08-29)

#8

This is not first time the last time farmers were ripped off by these agents
This opens the door for mass corruption at the expense of black farmer development
No. No.No to implementing agents

#12

We, the undersigned Free State farmers and concerned community members, submit this petition to express our significant apprehension and strong reservations regarding the proposed prospect of bringing back service providers or implementing agents to execute the Free State Farmers' Grant Scheme. We firmly believe that the adoption of a money transfer system is not only essential for the direct benefit of farmers but also a critical step towards eliminating corruption and favoritism that have plagued previous projects

Moalosi John Matheatau (Winburg, 2023-08-29)

#13

I’m signing because I am also a farmer.

Christine Motsoeneng (Welkom, 2023-08-29)

I am an emerging farmer and would like the funds to be accessible to all equally and fairly without favouritism.

Sellwane Molupe (Welkom , 2023-08-29)

#15

For the first time farmers had control over the money. Why involve someone who knows nothing of your business to implement certain things??? Arent this signs of corruption we are so willing to stop as a country.

Thato Nosi (Dewetsdorp , 2023-08-29)

#16

I am a farmer, and in need of funding

Mankema Mofokeng (Edenville , 2023-08-29)

#17

I'm a famer and disagree with bringing implementing agents to facilitate grant transactions on behalf of Government. This action has never benefited the farmer but those that a connected and was used to facilitate corruption and the psyphoning of public funds ment to assist the farmer but end up benefiting friends and those that are connectes.

Ayanda Hleko (Welkom, 2023-08-29)

#22

No one should be given the power to dictate what happens on farms, many black farm businesses failed due to interference from officials and implementing agents not knowing what is actually needed on the farms, farmers need to be given the right to use the funds according to their farm needs to sustainable ventures.

As a youth female farmer I have first hand expirience of the oppression from officicials when they had to assist me during the planning phase of my project but instead they wanted to dictate which suppliers to use of which I ended up using some of their suppliers but my project till today has no direction.

Matumelo Tsie (Winburg , 2023-08-30)

#58

The struggle of Black Farmers who are suffering due to lack of support and funding from the government side . The implementation agents have more power on our Grants than farmers themselves and many projects have collapsed due to late coming grants and farmers are undermined by the so called implementation agents who are always late in terms of season times and we don't produce what we are supposed to produce due to doing things late after time and this has a bad impact because there is no postponement of preparing the soil and planting , if the right time arrives and we plant late , then our harvest is always not good due to late planting and implementation agents who are a burden to the growth of Black Farmers

Jabulane Radebe (Koppies, 2023-08-30)

#59

It's high time that transformation and transparency took place for the betterment of Young Farmers in the Free State

Excellent Ncapayi (Viljoenskroon , 2023-08-30)

#60

I am a farmer who has been struggling to access funding and markets, as us who stays around farms owned by whites are not getting help nor attention unless its election time, i strongly believe its high time we also get to be involved in everything the government is doi g to majority of town and township communities. Opportunities do come and go in our watch. While no o e is there to attend to our needs too.

Thato Kashe (Clocolan, 2023-08-30)

#61

I’m against any move that seeks to change the current model of funding farmers although its subject to modifications, any effort that seeks to change this model without considering historical facts will be equal to taking the Department back to days of wasteful and unaccounted expenditures.

Phaladi Matsole (Frankfort, 2023-08-30)

#62

I feel this is now a means for the department to create a feeding system for their tenderpreneur brothers and sisters.

Moleboheng Makutsoana (Bloemfontein, 2023-08-30)

#63

I believe that the system the free state is using that of bringing service providers from outside the province is not helping the economy of the free state but only helping the means of corruption in the province

Nthabeleng Maphepha (Botshabelo, 2023-08-30)

#64

Corruption is the biggest evil of any society.
We need integrity and transparency.

I hope that from now on every individual will strictly oppose and prevent corrupt activities from occurring anywhere around us. Thus, this will ensure the complete socio-economic and development of our society and country at large.
