There are people who know her and know Tater and these people know the facts.  Sorry but this owner is screwed up. The dog if someone else wants him should be able to go with them.

Dont forget about Olive that she got to replace Tater when she was a puppy and sent her off to be trained. That is 3 service dogs this girl has got and none of them are good enough for her.

After being made aware by someone I implicitly trust I have to sign. Since the original rescue is willing to take him back, he should be returned per their aggreement.

I believe if you adopt an animal...you keep and care for it until natural death...it is not a t-shirt you no longer want to wear and dispose of, it is a family member.

Tater deserves a family willing to love him as unconditionally as he loves in return. No responsible parent should give a child the power to murder any pet, let alone their own service dog.

To end this dog's life would be an injustice. Please release him to his rescue. This child is choosing to end Tater's life simply to be allowed another dog, this is a disgrace.

I love animals and it angers me when they're abused and killed by humans, who should know better, and I want to see those who perpetrate these deeds be punished and shamed so maybe they reconsider their ways. We, as kind people, must be their voice for they have none of their own.

So that an innocent dog that is in danger can be saved from being euthanized.

Because the Dog Tator Tot should not be euthanized, this is so wrong, should be released back to rescue to find good home. Beautiful baby

I have worked in Boxer rescue. Many owners twist stories about dogs they don't want anymore. There is definitely something wrong with this whole situation. I now own a Pit mix and have worked with and have friends with some of the sweetest Pitties/dogs I've known. Tater needs to be removed from that situation and then de-stressed and completely re-evaluated by an uninvolved party. If not charges should be brought against the "owner and/or vet for animal abuse for euthanasia of a dog for questionable reasons. Also charges to both for breach of contract by not allowing further evaluation of Tater. Who knows during all this time what could be done to him to make him a biter.

Because humans don't have
The right over ever living creature, this pup made it through to be a service dog and from reports I've read only being PTS because Titas' owner wants a new dog!!!

Considering Tater is a service dog I think that more evaluation is needed. I think that the reasons behind the 16 year-old's decision should be explored in much more detail.
