My ggg-grandfather was one of the people forced to leave Ireland, I'm sure he suffered both by hunger and then leaving his homeland. Both could have been prevented.

My great great grandparents came from Ireland in the years of the great hunger. I have read many many books on this topic. It breaks my heart to hear how these poor innocent people were treated and made to starve to death when all their food went to England. It was murder in my eyes.
