I signed because the Staff are wonderful and friendly, and their Farm Shop cannot be matched. I recently did a big BBQ and they accommodated the GF requirement with no hassle. Absolutely fantastic quality.
Cannot fault them.

I used to live in the Reading area and know Hare Hatch Sheepland's very well also the people there. Its a tradegy if this place closes for a situation that is out of their control. Think about the smaller business's and peoples livelihoods... think think think !!!!

I signed this petition, because hare Hatch Sheeplands is my preferred garden centre. I have always bought my garden plants, equipment etc since they opened. They make it a pleasant experience to shop and quality and pricing is second to none.

This enterprise deserves to be allowed to thrive. It makes a huge contribution to the community and the level of service is first rate. Everyone there knows their business and goes out of their way to help you. They put the opposition, across the road, well in the shade. This treasure needs to be preserved!

I work in Bracknell and I'm so impressed by the customer service at Sheeplands. The quality of the food on sale and the knowledge of the staff in the garden centre is excellent and well worth the trip.

Because it is an assent to the community at large. So many members do benefit from it.

Because Hare Hatch Sheeplands serves the community well, and gives employment.

I believe strongly that Hare Hatch Sheeplands is a benefit to the local community and that independent businesses like this should be supported and protected

I am a childminder myself and my childminder friend often came to Hare Hatch for the children to play we all really miss it and wished the council would change their mind and allow this playe area to be built .

I believe the local council are wrong to try and shut this site down. It seems petty.

I signed because I feel strongly that Sheeplands should continue. I am virtually certain that it is being shafted by Wokingham Council for political reasons, as another garden centre exists near by: being part of a chain, it is much more to the Council's liking (given its political stance) than a much smaller, independent organisation.

this is a very popular and thriving business. What would be gained by shutting it down

We have going started going to harehatch since 2005

We are concerned with conservation and preserving the environment and giving plants to the friends in the church

We enjoy going to harehatch sheeplands in a social and shopping buying from the farm and garden plant shop.

The atmosphere is always friendly a family run business where everyone goes out of their way to help you

I hope that this garden centre flourishes and is not cut down on size our children have enjoyed it immensely when the animals were there in the mini Zoo

I grew up and visit Reading at least twice a year, this is without a doubt one of the nicest place I have been to. Lots for kids to do, lovely cafe and shop. Generally a really nice place.

Hare Hatch is always full of a diverse selection of people, an important community hub that sacrifices a considerable amount of time, money and effort to remain so, rather than concentrating solely on maximum commercial gain. Activities offered are always great value and thet have fantastic caring staff. An asset to all, being persecuted by big business who couldn't give a fig for anyone that doesn't serve their bottom line.

Sheeplands offers an original service, there are many items sold there which cannot be purchased elsewhere - as far as I know, we certainly have not heard of anywhere similar in this area. It would be a tragedy to lose it.

This garden centre has been established for a long time. It is one of very few independent garden centres and, in a country where we have so few independent shops, it is refreshing and we should try hard to keep them. Although I live in Bracknell, I have meetings with friends in the cafe there to discuss our charity fundraising or just a chat. It is central to many of us. The cafe is good and reasonably priced. There is a great variety of 'shops' there and they run many social events, especially for children. It would be a great loss if closed down and the big chains would win.
