#124: Husain - Response to DR Adam

I did not get entanged in the "ITV Mix" I am the founder of ITV. So all the blame of ITV rests on my shoulders not on "ITV" or any Ulema. If you need to crticise ITV put the blame on my shoulders. I am willing to meet with Jamiat to discuss whatever can be done to rectify and or correct and or improve the situation.

#125: ridy -  The are 2 opinions on this issue by scholars as far as I know.

Some scholars of the view that a "Dawah Channel" like ITV free of sins can be allowed.

Others of the view that all forms of TV including the above is Haraam.

There is clearly no unanimity on the view by ALL scholars that either of the above opinion is correct. Otherwise there would be no "Muslim Channels" anywhere in the world. The existing "Muslim Channels" have not been condemmed by all the ulema in their countries where they are being broadcast.

#131 The Benefits of ITV compared to the Internet

2012-07-30 07:17

The people signing this opposition to ITV fail to see the double standards and hypocrisy of their own statements and arguments as they are using the Internet as a forum. The Internet is 10 times or 100 times more Haraam then ITV.

The is 10 times or 100 times more likelihood of committing sin and evil on the Internet then there is on ITV.

Why is the Jamiat and all the Ulema who condemn ITV silent on this glaring double standard????

#132 The Benefit of ITV compared to the other 100% Haraam Channels

2012-07-30 07:23

ITV is honest by saying that we are not 100% Halaal. Maybe there are less than 0.1% faults in terms of content. But this is being continually addressed and corrected as our errors are pointed out. Our intention is to however support Islam and promote the beauty of Islam. In this sense ITV has a 100% good Intention and 99.99% implementation of that good intention.

In contrast All the other TV channels have a 100% Bad and EVIL intention and 100% EVIL Implementation.

The people supporting the opposition to ITV on grounds of the Haraam nature of TV have their opinion which we respect.

But those who use the Internet and other media such as having a TV in their homes, making use of Mobile phones with access to the Internet, Making use of other modern media in its various forms etc are Hypocrites. They would rather support the 100% EVIL and 100% WRONG and attack ITV which has 100% GOOD Intention and 99.99% Implementation of that GOOD Intention.

#135 Conduct of the forum Participants on Opposition to ITV

2012-07-30 07:38

The conduct of many participants opposing ITV displays the totally Un-Islamic Nature of their conduct and is harmful to their cause. Examples are below:

a) Many guests anonymous and acting as cowards attacking ulema by name.
b) Some guests showing hate speach
c) Some guests showing an inclination to violence.
d) Guests making assumptions about ITV when they have not even seem ITV themselves.
e) Double standards in arguments as pointed out.
f) The poor standard of many comments.

#136 The "Evil" nature of the Internet shown even in this forum

#137 Correction: Internet at least 100 Million Times more Haraam than ITV

2012-07-30 07:47

The people signing this opposition to ITV fail to see the double standards and hypocrisy of their own statements and arguments as they are using the Internet as a forum. The Internet is at least 100 million times more Haraam then ITV.

There is at least 100 000 000 ( One Hundred Million ) times more likelihood of committing sin and evil on the Internet worldwide then there is on ITV. This figure is growing all the time. People who are misguided and ignorant do not realise that when they oppose Islamic Media which has a sincere intention to support and defend Islam then they are unwittingly supporting the enemies of Islam.

By attacking Islamic Media you are supporting unIslamic Media. It is clear that unIslamic Media has the agenda to attack the values of Islam. Unislamic Media have 100% Evil and 100% Bad Intention and 100% Evil implementation of their EVIL Intention.

Why is the Jamiat and all the Ulema who condemn ITV silent on this glaring double standard????

#138 Islamic Media 1 Billion times or infinitely more beneficial than all the Haraam Media put together

2012-07-30 08:03

Some ill informed guests make the argument that they use their exising TVs to rather watch 100% Haraam TV Channels since they know that it is Haraam and they can make Taubah. This is like saying you rather consume pork and alcohol and committ Zina which you know to be 100% Haraam then go to an Islamic Restuarant which is owned by a Muslim who has 100% Good Intention but who may be making less than 0.01% error in committing sins ( e.g. Patrons of the resturant are not separated male from female ) because of the danger that you will be more likely to commit sin at a Halaal place than a Haraam place.

The absudity of this argument by the opponents to Islamic Media is clear and shows they have not applied their minds logically and rationally to this issue.

By opposing Islamic Media they are on the side of the enemies of Islam. What answer have these opponents got to forumulate a response to the worldwide onslaught against Muslims and Islam? It is easy to criticise.

Please ask the Ulema who condemn Islamic Media to give a written action plan for Muslims to counter the Haraam Media which are harming the Muslim Ummah.

By saying that itv is the lesser of two evils means that you, in charge of itv are actually admitting that itv is evil. Is this correct? So why waste your time commenting and defending something evil??

You say that the blame sits squarely on your shoulders, you may think this is bravery on your part while it is utter recklessness, I wonder if on the day of qiyaamah you will have the same courage to face the anger of ALLAH TA'AALA the evil you are promoting. iN FACT YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE BURDEN OF ALL THE SINS WHICH ARE BEING AND STILL GOING TO BE COMMITED BY EVERYONE ON itv. Frightening. My advice is that you visit the Qabrastaan regularly and contemplate often on Maut and the severe punishment of the Qabr and hereafter before making such reckless statements.WASSALAAM

#146 ITV and Internet Reply to Dr. Adam

2012-07-30 09:35

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتهُ
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Before continuing, Listen to this bayaan of:

Hadhrat Ml. Yunus Patel saheb's (May اللَّه fill his qabr with noor) advices , rendered on #Radio Islam# by »Ml. Suliman Ravat« on the *22nd of July 2009*:
https://sites.google.com/a/radioislamlive.com/radio-islam/mbilal2012-01/20090722_mlypateltv.mp3?attredirects=0&d=1 ~{click on download attachment, then open attachment}~

Dr. So u do admit that ITV is haraam to a certain extent, right? You just told us in a comment that in the Adverts on itv there's music... 1 bit of music and that is enough for us to say that ITV isn't shariah compliant! Because u get the money to run the station mainly through advertising and advertising depends on audience ratings! So people are listening to music on the adverts, advertisers are paying higher rates for adverts as more people are watching ITV and the adverts, and the station is running on income from AIRING and promoting music now is this pleasing to اللَّه ?!!

*Read comment »#86 on comment page #4« and see what I said, I said "on ITV, there are ADVERTS that promote music" not programming promoting music!!

A woman's voice and body and face Must be concealed from strange men, tell me that on ITV, the women dress in proper Islamic dress (Full Hijaab [full covering] , Niqab [veil], Abaya [cloak]??) NO, in some adverts their sattar is revealed (such as their hair) and presenter's faces are revealed. It is WAJIB (Next to fardh) for women to cover their faces!! Even IF they do dress fully, their voice should be concealed from strange men.
On itv its flaunted openly to thousands if not millions of strange men!!!

Read the info in the following links on woman and what they should conceal as I have provided before too in this discussion as well as in the "support for itv" discussion.

M. Asgahr:

http://www.islam-watch.org/MAsghar/Muslim-Women-and-Veil.htm

Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam al kawthari(Darul Ifta of UK & Al-Qalam Shari’ah Scholars uk):

http://www.shariahprogram.ca/islam-qa-women/female-voice-singing.shtml

If all ulama aren't unanimous on tv, then they should be unanimous on:
dis-believer's MUSIC, on the COVERING OF WOMEN, On the INTERMINGLING OF THE SEXES and On the making of pictures of animate objects!!!

And if some say music is permissible to get income from, if women can mix with men without their body covered properly, if women can flaunt their voices and bodies to thousands if not millions of strange men and if men can show their pictures to thousands if not millions of strange women, if they say taking of pictures for other reasons but for identification is allowed and if they say talking to a woman face to face for a "competition" is OK....... Then unfortunately those Ulama must go back to madrassah and study Mishkaat ul Misbaah and Bukhari Shareef again, and they should re-do their tafseer of Qur'aan under their honourable asaatidha who have condemned all of the above.

And Dr. Adam don't try to commend ITV and prohibit the internet!
On The internet YOU can choose properly what you want to download, then listen to / watch it.. On TV the directors/presenters choose what you should watch/listen to.. The sin of airing music, airing photos of women, airing the intermingling of the sexes is on ITV not individual, and if a person downloads music off internet its HIS own sin, and the sin of the person that put it on, and on no Islamic website is there music or porn available for download. Wanaoodhoobillaah.

On the internet on Islamic sites, internet is not being played in the adverts, women are not displayed with their sattar exposed, they don't run the websites through income from music-filled adverts, they don't have women flaunting their voices there!!!!

And for the members of the group that are making indecent comments, Gheebah and exposing names please stop, this too is wrong!!!

Imagine on a *TV* channel promoting hadith and Qur'aan, the presenters don't know the orders ofاللَّه properly as women presenters are flaunting their faces and voices there and the males are allowing it, the people in charge of advertising are allowing music to be put into the adverts And to top that up the ulama that are presenting on ITV are also saying nothing!!!! What a pitiable state this is!!! Maybe the staff of ITV and ulama appearing there all need to go to some institution like Darul Uloom Zakariyya or Darul Uloom Azaadville and learn the laws of اللَّه properly under Hadhrat Mufti Radha-Ul-Haqq Saheb or Hadhrat Mufti Muhammad Saeed Motara Saheb then start again. Or maybe they should go to one of the Khanqahs like khanqah Sheikh Zakariyya(lenz ext.1) or Khaqah e Akhtari (1 Azaad street, azaadville) and ask to learn the laws of اللَّه from Hadhrat Ml Ebrahim Mia or Hadhrat Ml Abdul Hamid Saheb or maybe they should go to the marqas (Musjidun Noor, crown mines, behind Africa Cash n Carry {Telkom Complex}) and go out in the path of اللَّه for four months in Jama'ah and ask their Ameer to teach them the laws and limits of اللَّه.

If they want the contact details of these institutions, they may contact me on the email address that's next to my name.

May اللَّه guide us all to the straight path and help the muslims worldwide, those that are in: war, hunger, poverty, depression, sins, and save us all from calamaties and sins and accept all our good ibaadah and give us all the taufeeq to get knowledge of Haqq from Ulama e Haqq and give us the ability to do Da'wah the way the Prophets (peace and blessings of اللَّه be upon them all) did Da'wah towards the oneness of اللَّه .

DR Adam you said, repeated, repeated and repeated the above, but do you realise what a VAST difference there is between the two?

Inshsa-Allah i will reply in detail a little while later due to limited time right now. But in the mean time can you just answer a few questions for me?

1. By me using the internet, am i sinning in any way?

2. If i am sinning, am i sinning in the name of islaam? Is this internet we using called ISLAAMIC internet, with ulama at the forefront of its founding and existance?

3. Are the ulama, leaders and muslims going to see the sin we do here as ISLAAMIC and the better option to fornicating and drug doing and hence, start making the porn sites etc. less evil and shameless and then render it halaal?

In most cases this internet is used as a necessity for work, studies etc. etc. etc. and what haraam people do on it is NOT on the shoulders of the ulama or any muslims. They are solely responsibly for their deeds. Until now NOBODY petitioned against the TV. WHY? because we muslims took no part or play in its ''productiveness'' and promotion.

No, doctor Adam, the people that are using the internet are not listening to nusic and looking at Molvies mixing with females in the name of Islam. Please, be honest. Do not justify the Haraam intermingling that happens on your ITV.

Doc, you are not an Aalim,so please do not attempt to extrciate your self from the mess that you have created by citing Islam. You are an ordinary layman who is very very confused. Whilst you state that ITV is the lesser of the two evils and whilst you apologise for the music and photography etc. you simultaneously seek to justify it. The internet does not operate in the name of Islam. People would be much lesser outraged if you change the name of ITV to something else.
