There are too many Liquor stores is south Auckland as it is. Alcohol leads to alot of domestic violence and I am sure our children do need more of that in their lives. This store will be situated immediately in the zone of 3 schools is this a wise move and a good influence on our children? I think not. Say NO to more Liquor stores!

I cannot believe this was approved. Our KIDS AND COMMUNITY DESERVE BETTER. I would say that the Violent crime will increase and we don't want that happen in that area. I do NOT support having any more liquor store in Mangere.

Ban liquor stores on our streets. There are far too many of them. council why is this being allowed and government get control of the problems find more solutions to why there is so much bull shit happening in NZ especially south auckland! COMMUNITY get behind your COMMUNITY ! get active in what is happening on your own door steps, support community good support good projects and make more good in the community happen by participating in your local community. go and see your local M.P and help! Help make better changes. we must all take responsibility to what is going on in our communities! be involved! we the people will be the difference between doing something and doing nothing.

Public consultation for this has been a joke from local authorities. I live in this particular area and was surprised that this was approved, we already have too many liquor stores in the area let alone next to a school

Not impressed with this, local authority have got to be a lot more stricter with issuing licenses for liquor stores to operate across from schools. Absolute lack of appreciation of the perceived risk in doing so!

There are enough Liquor outlets in Mangere. There is one at Shoprite a mere kilometre away. I question the mentality of the Liquor Licensing Commission. Why are they allowing more outlets in the lower socio economic areas (i.e.) South Auckland.

There's enough liquor stores in the area, all within close proximity to where the proposed liquor store ought to be opened! Not ideal to have another one, especially close to a school!!

ATT to the stupid that approved of this liquor store!!
what's wrong with these people!
you might as well open a liquor store next to a church and opposite a day care center.
i don't have kids that go to southern cross campus but i disagree with a thousand other parents that do as well with opening a stupid alcohol store outside a school... This is currupt!!!

I am 100% supportive of this petition as the future of our young Pacific and South Auckland children going to school will be damaging due to the evil decision making of those who are hungers for the money such as this liquor store. I totally agree to take it to North Shore or elsewhere
