Ban Tail Docking on Dogs in Ireland

The Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 plans to allow members of the public to dock tails and remove dew claws from puppies. Vets are not allowed to perform these acts of mutilation and members of the public should certainly not be permitted as they have no access to pain relief. Please sign to make this barbaric practice illegal.

We demand that St Martin-in-the-Fields reverse outrageous decision to cast out loyal musicians

For 30 years our orchestras and choirs have brought joy to thousands of people and raised millions of pounds to support the work of St Martin-in-the-Fields and the homeless. We have effectively been summarily dismissed. We call on people of all faiths and none to support our ap

As a result of the changes, which will give a greater seating and serving area, the owners are proposing to change the name - it is unclear what the name will become but 'The Cricketers' and 'The Barn Owl' are two rumours.  ‘The Case is Altered’ or, familiarly, 'The Case' is an unusual, if not unique, name that helps the pub stay in even the casual v
