Petition to stop the Theatre Royal axing the Pantomime with this cast

The Berwick Kaler pantomimes have been part of many family’s traditions for decades. We as a family have been going for more than 20 years and this is the same for many family's in and around York and for many who come from outside of York It has come to light in recent days  that the management of York Theatre Royal are looking to move their pantomime in a new direction away from the Berwick Kaler tomfoolery and the cast that has been bringing tears of laughter on that stage for years.  Nothi

Financial Support for Temporary Visa Holders in Australia - COVID 19

Due to the covid-19 pandemic a lot of temporary visa holders in Australia (visitor visas, student visas, 482 visa holders, working holiday visas), have been left unemployed and stranded in Australia. So far, The Australian Government has done nothing to support temporary visa holders in Australia. It has not provided a clear indication of what, if any financial support will be provided. Captain Tom Moore Knighthood

99 year old army veteran Captain Tom Moore should be given a Knighthood as he has raised more than £4m to help the NHS in the fight against Covid-19 and has vowed to keep going even though he has smashed his original £1,000 target. Tom Moore aimed to complete 100 laps of his Bedfordshire garden by Thursday, walking with the aid of a frame. However he has now said he will not stop and hopes to do another 100. NHS Charities Together, which will benefit from the funds, said it was "truly inspired a

Postpone, instead of digitalise the 2020 End of Year Degree Show

Due to the current climate surrounding corona virus, Leeds Arts University have cancelled a physical Degree Show, and decided to replace that with a Digitalised archival version. This has caused many students a lot of grief and dissappointment, when the expectation of the degree is for it to culminate in an end of year degree show. This petition is a polite collection of the signatures of those who would appreciate a reschedule of the exhibition as opposed to a digitalisation. Digitalising many

'A SAFER WOODBURY', Devon UK

A SAFER WOODBURY Being in between Exeter and Exmouth has it's advantages between the city and the sea but that also means we are also used as a main through route to villages and towns in the surounding area. We are an escape route when the A376 is blocked by an accident or just heavy traffic. Our mainroad is a magnet for the 'racers' who use it to impress their mates and also for the occasional drunk driver. During rush hours and the holiday seasons, our small village can get very busy with all

Victoria - Asset of Community Value

The Victoria has served the local residents of western Oldfield Park for over 120 years, providing the focal point, meeting place and social space where neighbourhood relations were formed and renewed. It also hosted a wide range of outside clubs and organisations. Until it changed hands in 2016 the Vic had been viable as

Resignation of Councillor Karen Tippins

Further to yet another disgraceful outburst from Cllr Tippins during an official Shaftesbury Town Council online meeting on Tuesday April 14th, in which she verbally abused Cllr Welch, repeatedly calling him 'thick' and an 'idiot',  we are calling for the immediate resignation of Cllr Tippins.  This latest outburst is one in a long litany of abusive, bullying, obstructive behaviour, damaging to the good name of our town and the mental wellbeing of Council staff.  No one should go to work knowing
