TE WIWI NĀTI HAPŪ CLUSTER PETITION: THE ROAD

Our road from and between the Kaiinanga Hill to the end of the Tikapa and Awanui Roads is often unsafe and inaccessible, especially in the wet months.   Whānau still live in that valley, and people travel in and out daily for work, for school, or to visit other whānau. We are often not able to attend our marae hui. The Ambulance and Fire Services often can't attend emergencies there.   We are asking that the Gisborne District Council repair the road.  No more short-term patch-ups.   We need our

Save our Centre! Government funding essential to keep classes running for disabled children in Taranaki.

Conductive Education Taranaki has provided highly valued specialised sessions for kids with disablilites since 2017 without Ministry of Health funding.   Conductive Education has been part of New Zealand for over 25 years, with existing providers receiving Government funding. Centres in Auckland, Waikato, Wellington and Christchurch all hold Child Development Services contracts to support their service delivery.  We have to raise it all ourselves through exposure, events and activities! Save Tugun Beachfront - Stop Seawall

Gold Coast City Council want to spend $2million of our ratepayers money to rip out the last remaining native trees and dunes and put in an artificial Seawall along Tugun foreshore. Tugun beachfront is a beautiful natural meeting place for families, beach goers, surfers and walkers.  The last remaining grove of Sheoak trees at the end of Wagawn Street Is under threat. These trees provide the only natural shade and a place for people to gather on the beach and enjoy this unique and special place.

Bowen street school crossing/40kms

I believe Bowen street should be brought down from 60km limit to a 40km limit during the school hours 2:30pm to 4:00pm! aswell as a safety crossing put into place on this street also as many children cross from Park Avenue to Henderson street to attend both primary and high school! with out this in place I believe a child/children will get hurt or killed due to the amount of traffic on this road!

Do Not Treat The Strays in Boracay Island as Pests!

Please sign this petition if you think the latest proposal of the mayor of Boracay is an ignorant plan of rounding-up strays by auctioning their capture as if they are pests. Impounding stray dogs and cats is never a proven solution; domestic animals can co-exist with humans. Why inflict suffering to the animals?  Penalize those who are cruel to the animals, spay and neuter cats and dogs, embrace them as part of the community.  Fellow advocates, let us denounce any ignorant and irresponsible act

We demand that St Martin-in-the-Fields reverse outrageous decision to cast out loyal musicians

For 30 years our orchestras and choirs have brought joy to thousands of people and raised millions of pounds to support the work of St Martin-in-the-Fields and the homeless. Now in the midst of a global pandemic with no consultation we have been informed by email, by the Director of Music at St Martin-in-the-Fields, that our concerts will end and that evening concerts will be in-house only. We have effectively been summarily dismissed. We call on people of all faiths and none to support our call
