SAVE SUVILAHTI DIY!

(English text below) Suvilahden skeittiparkki on purku-uhan alla Kalasataman alueen uudistuksessa ja tämä on ehdottomasti estettävä!

Against killing Europeans wolves, bears and lynx

Dear lovers of wildlife; I believe it is time to stop killing innocent animals for human greed. As far as we know, our planet is endangered and by no way it could be saved by taking the last forest, the last appropriate habitat of these animals. So say stop to killing Slovenian and European wolves, bears and lynx! And say stop to throphy hunting. Animals have their genuine right to live, to have family, to live in their natural humes, which are being stolen from then by human animals all the tim

SAVE THE KYMI SINFONIETTA!

We, the undersigned, appeal to the City of Kouvola decision-makers to safeguard the operation of the Kymi Sinfonietta and not to implement the plans for cutting the orchestra’s funding.   The City of Kouvola is planning to make sizeable cuts in its annual funding of the Kymi Sinfonietta, or even to stop funding the orchestra altogether. All the options would mean that the Kymi Sinfonietta as it is at present would cease to exist. The grant for the International Uuno Klami Composition Competition

Petition for ingredients declaration on alcoholic beverages

Within the EU, manufacturers of alcoholic beverages do not need to tell you what they have put into the bottle. All other food and beverages, on the other hand, must have detailed ingredients lists.   In wine, for example, the manufacturers can use some 60 different additives and other substances, without them being declared on the bottle.   It all comes down to an EU decision in 1979 where they failed to decide the labelling rules for alcoholic beverages. And since then, they have left things

No goldmine to Valkeakoski, Finland!

We demand the Regional State Administrative Agency and TUKES (Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency) to re-handle the environment and mining licenses and to undo it. We also appeal to the decision-makers of Valkeakoski that this unsustainable and permanently environment-harming project would be panned by a legal effect. An initiative from the mining licenses has been made and sent 31.5.2017 to AVI (Regional State Administrative Agency) and to TUKES (Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency). It has bee
